Sorry for the dumb question. I assume it does not work as the card reads a specific amount of damage for the specific ability.

I am not fully sure what the question is?
Advantageous only works with Attacks, not powers/abilities that do damage.
It can stack with other, differenly named force powers/abilities that add damage to an attack.
Next time, put your question in the post, as the title is not nearly enough room to right a fully clear question.

To clarify, I think you're asking about a situation like this: Does Advantageous Attack grant an extra +10 damage when I use Force Push 4?
The answer to that would be No.
However, if you're asking if Adv Attack stacks with Force Powers like 'Use the Force' or 'Lightsaber Assault' then the answer would be yes, but simply because those Force Powers generate attacks, and the Adv. Attack ability just adds damage to attacks.
It's definitely worth it to gain a firm understanding of the difference between what is considered an attack and what isn't.

How would it stack with something like Sith Rage?

Advantageous Attack would stack with Sith Rage because they are both separate NAMED abilities, even though they both grant the same amount of extra damage.

Advantageous Attack would also stack with Cunning Attack. Even though both abilities are granting a bonus to 1 of the same stats, & even though both abilities activate under the same situation, as explained they are 2 Different NAMED abilities so they would stack. Same is true for Deceptive & Oppurtunist.
