hi guys just want to know if youve ever had any outrageous pulls, whether that be what you pulled (good or bad), how you pulled it (ex. where you bought it) or coincidental happenings lol :P thanks guys, and heres my contribution: Last Year, in April '09, when IE came out (about 2 days after release), I decided to buy a booster. I asked for a booster at Borders, and they handed it to me off the shelf behind the counter. I was shopping with some friends, so I carried my booster around as they looked at CDs, books, etc. When we all came back to the clerk to make all of our purchases, I noticed that the booster which I got that was on the shelf was replaced with another booster. I was debating whether to change boosters, but decided against it. I ended up pulling Moff Jerjerrod (boo  ), and an Imp. Dig. and some filler. Fast forward 3-5 weeks. I go back to Borders, and find out that the SAME BOOSTER 3-5 weeks ago was still on the shelf. I decided to buy it (40% off) and pulled...yea, General Rieekan.

I was pretty sad when I pulled Deena Shan in my first booster, but then in my next two boosters, I pulled Cade BH and Maul SA. Not too shabby, heh.

@Demosthenes - nice pulls for your first three boosters! I've had some really horrendous streaks of bad boosters (IE was brutal for that), but also pulled 2 Jango BH and 2 Mandalore Indomitable out of like six consecutive BH boosters about a year ago. One of my favorite stories involves Cade BH. I had just started playing and was fond of using him at the time, then my son traded his away. I was a bit miffed at him over that, then one night at the LGS I sent him over to the rack with instructions to pick a Legacy with another Cade in it. Sure enough, he did. To this day he reminds me about it, lol. Just a week or so ago I had two RotS in my hands trying to decide on one. He snatched one of them from me and said "just buy this one". It was an AT-RT, which was the piece I really wanted from the set. The little dude is pretty handy to have around at times

so my LGS had The force unleashed boosters for 15 bucks a pop, i decided to buy 2 out of the 7 on the shelf
the first one was Kazdan and i was pretty meh about it
number 2 had vaders apprentice unleashed
so my day was alil brighter but i wanted to try my luck with a 3rd booster and pulled BOBA MERC! oh happy day!
after my joyful rejoicing the store owner asked me to go pull a revan for him. So i walk over to the shelf and just grab a random booster, not hoping for anything specific....turns out it was a Revan and i was sad that i didnt buy the booster for myself

Way back at our IE sealed I had Dash, Arica and 2 mouse droids out of my 2 boosters. Still ended up losing to a guy who had Thrawn and Emps on Chair.

Back when champions came out I was looking for a new faction to use so I bought two boosters and my first rare would be my new faction. I pulled Darth Bane and Bastila Shan. Though my first two boosters of IE were both C-3PO.

A friend of mine pulled Cad Bane in his first GaW pack. Then, in our Cad vs. Boba BH fight Fett disintegrated Cad in the opening shot. The look on his face...

My first booster had Bail Organa. -_- Way to start off a mini's experience. My first BH booster offered up Tamtel Skreej, and my first and only LotF booster had Dodonna (not horrible, but not great). My friend, who I got into minis, has pulled Lord Vader, Boba BH, a Storm Commando, Yoda of Dagobah, Han Scoundrel, and a couple other chase pieces. It's almost funny...

No....that is rotten luck.....the good Karma is not with you my friend. That is why I save up and buy a case at each release now. You get everthing but four very rares, and I trade for those, so it is all good!!

About a year ago I was at my local LCS and was looking at their last two TFU boosters. I only needed one more piece from that set, Vader's Apprentice Unleashed. I picked a booster and there he was. And two weeks ago, at my local LGS, after finishing 2nd in the release event, I only needed one piece to complete my DT set, Dass Jennir. I picked a booster but was told by another gamer that they had just pulled Dass that day. Disappointed I bought the booster anyway and sure enough, there was Dass Jennir. The booster also had the separatist jedi hunter droid, a rodian brute, and a soveriegn protector. Lucky, lucky day.

I tend to have lucky expansions and unlucky expansions. KOTOR was the epitome of lucky for me. I bought around 12 boosters from the store. About 60% of my pulls were VRs and I never got a duplicate (Lucien, Mira, Jar Jar, Squint, Kreia, Juhani, and my last pull...). The best was my last pull. The Waldenbooks near my work had 1 KOTOR booster left, and by this time, KOTOR boosters were pretty hard to find in my area. I figured buying that booster would be pressing my luck, given my good fortune with finding KOTOR VRs, but then I decided, what the heck...one last KOTOR purchase for old times sake. Inside was my biggest want remaining from the set...Mandalore the Ultimate.
The KOTOR games are perhaps my all-time favorite video games (and a big reason why a decided to try SWM with its selection of KOTOR characters), and I loved the KOTOR SWM expansion. It just so happens KOTOR loved me back.

Back when Rebel Storm was released (yes, I've been playing since the beginning), my son joined me for some games at one of the two stores I ran events at.
He'd gotten some birthday money that he just had to spend. He wanted to buy two boosters. Trying to teach him something about money management didn't go too far with an 11 year old. He said he might pull a Boba Fett -- the high $ figure of the set. As a parent, I talked to him about the chances of that happening.
Sure enough, he opened the boosters and one included Boba.
My son was thrilled and said 'I told you so.' Seeing that he just pulled one and knowing that was one of the last few figures I needed to complete the set, he wanted to buy one more booster. Again, we talked about the odds.
Again, he pulled another Boba.

I've been pretty lucky with pulls with heroclix a SW Minis, the four best stories are:
1. Bought only one booster of Bounty Hunters and one booster of Force Unleashed at the same time and pulled Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter and Darth Revan.
2. Bought 3 SW boosters, one from Bounty Hunters, Legacy of the Force, and Force Unleashed. I pulled Princess Leia, Hoth Commander, Leia Organa Solo, Jedi Knight, and Princess Leia of Cloud City.
3. Heroclix-wise. I once bought one booster of DC Unleashed at Media Play, the last one they had in stock, and pulled Kingdom Come Superman.
4. Also with heroclix, I bought three boosters of DC Crisis and pulled Sinestro, Black Adam, and the KC Chase Superman! I spent like $30, and pulled (at the time) $300 worth of minis! Shazam!

i remember when i was first getting into the game i bought an RS starter and 3 boosters. i got Veers, Leia Senator and Boba.
Later when TFU came out i bought 4 booster packs and pulled a Rebel Tauntaun, Leia CC, Boba Merc and Revan. Not bad

My two stories involved Cad Bane.
My birthday was right after the release of GAW. My wife wrapped up a case of GAW for me. I really wanted to pull Cad Bane so I did not have to pay the single price.
I opened the case and started going booster by booster hoping he was there. I got some good pulls and was keeping track how many VRs I had pulled after 11 boosters still no Cad Bane. I knew that last booster should have a VR. I opened it, went through the first 6, nothing. The seventh was stuck. I ripped the cardboard apart and saw the blue cowboy. Was very happy to say the least.
The other was the day of a release event for DT. I was all set to go and both kids got sick. Not wanting to bail on my wife I did not go. Later in the day both kids made a miraculous recovery. It was too late for me to head up towards LA. We decide to bang out some shopping. While at Target, I see a lone GAW booster. My wife knows I was bummed about missing the tourney and encourages me to buy it. Thinking it would be a rare I have two of already I still buy it thinking I would give it to the kids. Get home, open it to find myself staring at the top of the brown cowboy hat.
These two events sort of even out the streak of Jareal, Deena Shan, and Boshek I had when each of those came out.

Once in a Bounty Hunters pack I pulled a Lord Vader/Utupaun Dactillion from a pack with the Han/Chewie cover. Next week my friend, JFisto pulls a Lord Vader/Dactillion from a Han/Chewie booster!

For Dark times I've pulled more Very rares then I have Rares. My first pull was K'kruhk. Then for our release event I pulled Kir Kanos and Dass Jennir. A week or two later I buy two packs and I got Another Kir Kanos and A'sharad Hett. I buy another pack and I pull another A'sharad Hett. Then for another draft I got Chewbacca. And then recently I bought a pack and got Chewbacca. I've had crazy luck! I just hope I have the same luck with Masters of the force, lol.

Well, I guess I could say Im in the "happy medium" mode right now, nothing to amazing but nothin to bad either. I did buy 2 DT packs thought and ended up with 2 Zuckuss BHs :(
But there was a time I really wanted an Exar Kun, but didn't have the $$$ to buy him for $23 bucks off ebay, so I bought a booster instead. Pulled out the cards, I see the orange sith color and then my mind went blank when I was holding Exar and a sith mutant cards in my hand. I also pulled a Aurra Sing JH and Darth Cadeus in the same day as my bro pulled a Boba Merc Com.
