Does splash also hurt the character dealing damage?
E.g. Cade BH hits someone adjacent, does he take 10 damage from Splash?

Only if you fail the save. But yes, if you happen to be adjacent to your target when you use it, you must also save against splash damage.

The Junk Golem is one character in particular affected by this: It has both the Splash and Melee Attack special abilities. So every time it attacks an enemy, it's going to be affected by its own Splash. Fortunately, it has Shields, so it has to fail two saves in order to take damage. But the point is, its own attacks potentially affect itself.
