I'm new on here, someone at the Wizard's official forums suggested visiting over here as well, with the star wars game being cancelled. Here's some pics from a papercraft 3D imperial starbase I assembled using pdf's someone made, and a couple of customised tiles and plastic scenery objects. The doors were designed as a doorframe that is hollow at the top, and door pieces that can then slide inside the frame. So, when a door 'opens', the door piece can be slid out to make an empty doorway :) I threw in a Rebel Troop Cart to be a 'hovering cargo palette'.

The pdf's with 3D Death Star Scenery and 3D Cloud City Scenery can be downloaded through links at the Wizards' website, at this post:

I made the bridge over the shaft using the Shaft map tile that came with the original star wars miniatures box set, adding a small ledge jutting out from it in the middle, and a computer console for doing things like shutting down shield generators, or disabling tractor beams, etc.

I'm still adding low-cover objects, like small computer consoles, and sci-fi looking crates, that can be placed around the map to add to the scenery.

Anyway, here's some photos of my 3D level! I haven't browsed BlooMilk much yet. If there are any good threads with photos of other people's custom maps, in particular 3D maps, I'd love to see them too.

Interesting ... nice work within your limitations. What are those little "machines" in your terrain (not the desk/consoles?)

I had a 3D thread a month or so ago ... there are cards in the top of the thread, #D pics towards the bottom.

Haven't really had a chance to finish the Sith Temple; been waiting for vacation which starts next week. I've seen the 3D terrain you've used, been meaning to try the consolesand maybe the wall pics to use over thicker material.
