Where: Uncle's Games
http://www.unclesgames.com/stores.php
Crossroads Mall
15600 NE 8th Ave., Suite K10, Bellevue, WA

The midnight event will be a sealed event. 30$ entry fee and you get two boosters to make your squad. Also all pre-ordered cases will be 30% off and you can get them at midnight.

We will be meeting up at the LGS on the night of the 16th and the cases and tournament will begin after midnight, so we will be playing until 4 am or so tuesday morning (the 17th). Squads will be 100pts. You can show up to the store around 11:30 pm monday night. The store will be closed for a few hours starting at 9pm. But you can be sure that we will be doing the midnight release!

I will get more details as I have them. Feel free to pm me with any questions.

P.S. I will be bringing extra tables and chairs since we were so tight on space during the CW release (23 people).

For the longest time (years) we could barely ever get even 4 people to an event. Now we have 12 or so every saturday and we have 8-10 every wednesday. Its really great and I am really working hard to keep those numbers up. We are finding more players all the time aswell. Alot of people struggled to get our local community to this point.

Most likely PAX will be great this year and we are going to try to get some to gencon. Also looking at the possibility of an annual washington event in spetember or october that will be a championship of sorts.

Hoping to come down! I have the night off, but there is a half day training in the morning Tuesday (starts at 7am). I've been to the same one 2 times though, hopefully my boss lets me off the hook. If not I may be really tired listening to the presenters!

Awesome, we hope to see you there chuckafett! We did almost double the normal about of prizes for the last midnight release. I will let you guys know once i have the exact amounts for prizes, but we try to make it extra special : )

Even if Vader doesn't have disruptive, he is still going to destroy all the republic scum that you play and punish them for their crimes against the empire!

I had decided that the sealed should be 100pts. I have gotten both negative and positive feedback on the subject. This is a quote from me from me during a discussion to see how others felt

"I don't want to justify doing the point total because everyone should be able to hit the total of 120 or 150. I think if anyone just has to use everything but the bacta tank to get the right amount of points, there is an issue.

I may be wrong about this but I feel like 100 points allows for more people to make a squad that has a chance at prizes. Those who pull weak, still have a chance to make a decent 100 point squad with well used uncommons and they don't have to throw in everything just for 50 points of fluff. If they play well and use their peices to the fullest, they could walk away with prizes. Those who get the amazing pulls, can't run everything. They have to decide what would play the best. I think if someone is looking at their pull, trying to decide if arica+ uncommons or vader plus activations would be the better squad then its good for the event as a whole.

Or more simply I feel like 10-15% of the people would be able to make good 150 point squads but more like 80% of the players could make good 100 point squads (if not everyone)."

The only real downside to not doing 150 is the people who pull vader and emp/arica/thrawn could not play both rares. In some ways, i actually think it could be good for tournament because it avoids some squads that could potentially steam roll most every other squad with ease.

I am not playing in the sealed so the most important question is what would be the most fun for the players? I am almost sure that 100 points would make it so more people have a chance at prizes (it would come down to how well you play and not as much how good your rares were) but I am not sure if 100 or 150 would simply be more fun.

So please, the event is for the players and I want everyone to have a good time. Post here or pm your opinions. Would you have more fun doing 100 or 150 at the midnight release? Feel free to try opening some boosters useing the bloomilk feature. Right now we are still planing on doing 100 points. I do not want this event post to become a debate. Just let me know what you would prefer. PM me or post here. If i get a decent amount of response and it leans heavily one way or the other, thats what we will go with.

Still on the fence as to whether or not I'll be there, but I agree with your logic and vote for 100.

I'm coming, and I vote 100. I fully expect to pull C-3PO and Logray, so 100 points is going to work better for that combo. :)

I am almost sure I cannot come, but I live in the area and play games on satudays. I think it should be 100, not 150, cause having vader and thawn would be a little too good, if you know what I mean.

I vote for 100. I'm with Shinja, I'll have C3P0 for sure. In one of my cases I'll get one of the clusters thats missing a VR and has two of the same crappy R.
