I know this is an odd precident, but if a character with force whirlwind had twin attack, would they then get 4 attacks against each adjacent target?
this is based off of a custom i created and just caught the synergy of it.

this is based off of a custom i created and just caught the synergy of it. No twin attack wouldnt work with this because Force Whirlwind is an ability not an attack. It says in the glossary if you read that if causes damage to 1 target & each cahracter adjacent to that target save of 11. Its an auto dam ability with a save. You may only use twin attack anytime you would make an attack because it says when you make an attack, make another attack against the same target.. Now with force whirlwind the only way you could get it off twice since its a replace attacks SA is being on Republic with Captain Tarpals & a way to get a character with force whirlwin MOTF... then you would be able to spend FP's to use it one time, then after tarpals & MOTF will allow you to use it again. Key word with twin is it says when making an "Attack" you make another attack against the same target. Force Whirlwind is just a damage causing abilites which requires no attack roll so therefore is not an attack...

I believe you have confused Whirlwind Attack with Force Whirlwind.
Force Whirlwind does not generate attacks and thus is not affected by Twin Attack.
Whirlwind Attack however, does, and is thus afffected by Twin Attack.

hmm 4 attacks against each adjacent target is nice, granted you have to replace your turn to do it .

hmm 4 attacks against each adjacent target is nice, granted you have to replace your turn to do it . I'll state this again too that whenever a character has twin attack, with an ability that grants you to make an attack, twin attack would come into effect. Such as LSA,LS sweep, Charging Fire, Charging assult etc. Everytime you make an attack you may make an attack against that same target. Each regular attack you would make, twin can be used, so double attack would in a sense give you 4 attacks but staying in the rules restrictions meaning 1st attack on double you get a twin attack against that same target & then 2nd attack you could either hit that target again, or choose a different target & att then twin on that target. You however if a character only has twin attack, are not able to hit two different targets when using it. So if you kill a figure with ur first attack, then twin wouldnt be able to be used on another target because it says an attack against the same target. lol i know everyone probably knows this just thought i would add it on this thread because its not 100% off topic & maybe some newer players will find use out of this...
