Trying to think of another use for a Bacta Tank, I thought I'd give the old Spaarti Cloning Cylinder a try as a piece.

Spaarti Cloning Cylinder 25 Points UC
Imperial
HP: 30
Def: 10
Atk: 0
Dam: 0

Special Abilities
Emplacement; Damage Reduction 10;

Spaarti Cloning Technology (Each round, one adjacent ally of medium or smaller size may attempt the following: If the ally is non-unique, attempt a save of 11. If successful, place a copy of the non-unique ally adjacent to this character at the start of the next round. These characters do not count towards victory points and do not count as an adjacent ally to a Spaarti Cloning Cylinder. If the originally selected adjacent ally is unique, attempt a save of 16. If successful, when that character is defeated, immediately place them adjacent to this character at full health -20 and they get -3 Attack and -3 Defense for the rest of the skirmish. This bonus stacks if the same Unique character is cloned multiple times.)

The Emperor used Spaarti Cloning cylinders to create clone stormtroopers from many sources of genetic material. He also used them to create replacement bodies for himself when he was destroyed. The cloned bodies turned out to be inferior to their original templates.

Thoughts? Too confusing? Undercosted/overcosted? The idea is that you can clone troops and things, but can't clone the grunt clones. For uniques, you can clone them multiple times, but they get weaker and weaker every time you do.

Waywayway undercosted! One could just put this at the back, and spawn some of the better non-uniques (Storm Commandos, anyone?), seriously, this could be a high-50s type piece.
