While I was at work today, I noticed that a shipment from Excell (our distributor for CCGs and such) had arrived and was sitting by the cards waiting to be put out. Always curious to see if anything new or interesting came in, I popped open the boxes to see the what's inside. The first box contained nothing but hockey cards. Meh. The other box contained some new stuff for the WoW CCG (stackable deck boxes) and as I picked up the new product to look at it, that's when I saw it: An Imperial Entanglements booster.
I excitedly grabbed it and checked the price. It was 7.49! I proceeded to plunder the box for any remaining SWM goodness. In all, the shipment contained 4 IE boosters and 2 GaW boosters (at 8.99 apiece). As I had some coworkers who also collected SWM and were on duty at the time, I called to let them know about the awesome deal, and the minis were gone just like that. Now we're all hoping our store's buyer notices that we sold out the day we got the product in and gets us more or even better, things from different sets.
As for the pulls, GaW had Obi-Wan and Ahsoka while the IE boosters had Thrawn, Arica, Logray, Vader, and 2 Mouse Droids.
So, keep an eye out in the card departments of your local stores and you might find some good deals on SWM in the future.

Thanks for the heads up. Now I wonder if case prices will reflect this...

I have already bought two AoE packs from a couple of our local Ross stores for about $7.00 each. I am now keeping my eyes open and going more often.

One can only hope so. I know my store's cost on the boosters were 4-5 bucks apiece; one can only imagine how cheap Excell got them from WotC.

I'll be lucky to find any boosters over here in England.

My LGS is out of boosters, and he claims he can't get anymore. If I can buy under retail, why can't he?

I scored two Dark Times cases for $160 (with shipping) last night. Unfortunately, it was their last two cases.
