well, well, well...i heard on both these boards and the WOTC boards about Target's liquidation sales on minis...so i decided to check it out...walked around the WHOLE STORE and didn't see one booster on the shelf...  that is, until i found a lady near the cards section opening big cardboard boxes...i peeked in and saw...*WOW*!!!!  inside were starship boosters, Starter sets (both CW and original '07 one), a ton of IE, i think 4 JA, 4 GAW, and even 3 TFU boosters!!!!! i checked them all out, and here's the prices i saw...: Starship boosters: 30% off CW SS: 50% off '07 SS: 50% off IE: 50% off JA: 40% off GAW: 40% off so by the looks of things it looks like the newer sets are 40% off, and the older ones are 50%...SS boosters i guess are really scarce so they're only 30% off (i also saw the starship starter set in a box too!) So, i decided to stock up on a lot of boosters...i bought the 3 TFU boosters, 4 IEs, 4 GAWs, and 2 JAs (for my friend)...the total price ended up being like 128$ total, lol im currently making a list of all the stuff i pulled...i opened the TFU boosters first...first booster opened first fig that greeted me was...a junk golem  . kept digging and saw my V/R...2-1B...well, at least ive never had that fig before next TFU booster i open, first fig that greets me...ANOTHER junk golem ...anyways...kept looking down and saw my THIRD PROXY fig...ugh... my final booster opens...the huge i pull out is a troop cart (*woot*!!! i use them for scenarios a lot  )...i pull out my cards and see at the top of the stack...vader's apprentice, unleashed.  that's the second time i've pulled VAU from a TFU bosoter...*WOOT*!!!! next i pull out the IE boosters...first booster i open i find the big headed (in both ways) vader LOTF, along with a little mouse droid!!!! yea yea... second IE booster i look at the cards and only see blue and beige (meaning, imps and fringe) and end up pulling arica...not too shabby...except i already have her.  third IE booster i take out the cards and on top of the stack is the wonderful supersized pic of a mouse droid! *WOOT* that's 2 (or possibly 3) mice in 4 boostesr! yea...and guess who my V/R was in that booster? well, if you guessed vader LOTF...ur right...the ironic thing about it was that i think 5 of the figs from each booster with vader LOTF in them were the exact same figs...chiss merc, vader, mouse droid, snowtroopercommander, stormie...weird...they even had the same cover! :) 4th and final IE bosoter i take out...i look at the cards first and foremost and see...a bothan commando. i flip the cards over and see...gen. crix madine. yea! i actually needed him for my rebel SS squad for a while now... i am now waiting to open my 4 GAW boosters, since me and my friend are going to do a bosoter battle...his 2 JA boosters (which i'll give to him when i see him later today) against 2 of my GAW boostesr...it will be intense :) *NOTE* the boosters i think are "leftovers" from various cases from outlet stores?? i don't know, since i pulled 2 vader LOTFs in 4 IE boostesr...so if you pull from a target a cad bane, keep pulling GAWs cuz you might get another one! =D anyways guys, if you thought this was a boring thread, it's ok...just wanted to express my happiness in pulling some great figs for a realy cheap price... anyone else have some really great TARGET liquidation sale stories to share? :)

I cleared out my local target of the 5 discount boosters they had. I opened one (the others I'm holding for my gaming buddies) and it had Luke Rebel Commando, a stormie, a scout trooper, and a Mouse Droid!  Except I already have 10 of them.....maybe its time to spread the love?

Spread the love to ME! =D...i pulled two mice...i got REALLY lucky...i got fist pick at my target bc the lady was just taking them out of the box...heh heh...whem i said 'wow!' ill take those! And while i was filling up a cardboard box with them she was looking at me strangley and slowly said 'ok...'

i saw IE boosters for 50% but i really didn't like much from that set so i didn't get anything.

I've seen LOTF boosters on clearance for 8 bucks; that's a 40%-45% discount.

just got back from target and they finally had boosters on sale! i grabed 4 IE booster at 50% off i got all duplicate rares but i did get lucky and got a MOUSE droid they had GAW and Dark time still at $15 and they had JA for 40% off but i have most of that set

Ashoka, and finally as the very last booster the very last fig i pulled was...cad bane =D i too, grabbed 4 IEs and got 2 mice and two vader lotfs, lol...what V/Rs did you pull in those 4 IE boosters...

I picked up at 2 TFU at 50% (got Shaak Ti and Kazdan) and 3 IE at 50% (R2, Crix, and Dash; sadly no Mouse Droids, that's all I cared about, lol). I ignored all the JA and GaW since I've already got too much of those, lol.
I know Miniature Market has MotF for $7, I got 3 of those when I got a bunch of the SWM RPG books (all 50-80% off, whoot). Hoping for something good, but with my luck I doubt it.

Well, in little ol' God's Own, the closest I've seen is King of Cards selling groups of 3 boosters for NZ$39 and a case of GaW for NZ$144. I bought the case, having just had my birthday, and my friend wanted at least 2 of them. So, naturally, I said I'll give you 2 for $24. He wanted the first and the last boosters I pulled out, so, having opened all my boosters ( including Whorm, Argyus, Wat Tambor, all 8(!) Commando Droids, and most of the good rares) I gave him, as promised, those two boosters.
He got:
Assaj Ventress ( good for him, as his collection is kinda small)
Battle Droid ( he already had 1, I already had 14, so rather him than me lol)
B3 Ultra Battle Droid ( great for him)
LR-57 Combat Droid ( as above really)
ARF Trooper
AT-TE Driver
Clone Trooper with Night Vision ( yay, I only got 3!)
2 Senate Commandos ( well, they can't all be bad, right?!)
Aqualish Technician
R7 Astromech Droid ( well I guess I didn't need 2 and I'm very happy for him :)
Treadwell Droid
Weequay Pirate
and last, but possibly not least,................. Nahdar Vebb!!! ( poor guy!)

Thanks ChukaFett. The cool thing wi' NZ is that when something like this happens, the WHOLE country talks about it. 4 Million people on the same topic of conversation! Now, if we can only get the other 3,999,562 of them talking about SWM...

My local Target hasn't gotten them in yet, but the store where I work (ShopKo) has, so I'm still getting good deals myself. We currently carry 2007 starters, LotF, IE, GaW, and JA. I haven't seen any A&E, TFU, KOTOR, CW, or MotF yet, but considering our rep knows of the demand and our second batch of boosters was quadruple the amount of the first batch, I still have hope.
So far, out of my boosters I've gotten:

wow, u got 2 mice in 2 IE boosters?! =) nice!!! Your GaW pulls seem to have strugled a bit...as well as LotF...

Well the total count for my target boosters was: 2 JA: Darth Plagueis Darth Sidious, Sith Master Youngling! 3 IE: Luke RC Thrawn Arica Mouse Droid! Shock Trooper 2 VRs in 5 boosters ain't bad. Speaking of which, I ordered 5 DT boosters from Miniature Market while they were $6, and they contained Kir Kanos, Jax Pavan, Ferus Olin, Zuckuss BH, and Dengar HK. Until now, I've been needing Kanos, Pavan and K'Kruhk from Dark Times. Now I only need K'Kruhk!

i grabbed 2, TFU and IE. i pulled a Vader LotF and a Luke HPU with a big spider. the spider was awesome, i put him in the cup cabinet and made my wife upset =)
