Commander Effect: Droids are subject to this commander effect: Followers with lightsabers gain Lightsaber Defense. Followers who begin their turn within 6 squares may move 2 extra squares as part of their movement.
I plan on making a Darth Malgus custom at some point in the future, and figured I may as well work out his stats. I want to reflect his abilities accurately and at the same point make a piece that would work competitively. Cunning Attack and granting Momentum and the extra movement are there to reflect that his trademark strategy is using swift surprise attacks.

I'm not sure what you're aiming at here, but this guy could take out the whole Jedi Council, Yoda included ... Costed at 66? More like 80 -90 with all that ... If you're trying to make a Super Sith, well you can customize him to your hearts content, but do you Really think Four Special Abilities, Eight Force Powers, and Three Commander Effects are going to fit on One Star Wars Miniature Card?? You'll be lucky to fit Half of them ... Then again, it's Your custom, but if you want to have anyone take it seriously, slim it down to something in the realm of SWM's possiblities ......

This is what I'd go for. No point having triple if he's got cunning IMO. Beastly enough with momentum for all, and because of that raise him by two points.

I increased his cost, swapped Triple for Twin, lowered his attack from 16 to 13, and took out Force Leap and Lightsaber Assault, as well as his Momentum-granting CE.
I still don't know what to do with Force Push/Lightning. He utilized both, but Twin Lightsaber Throw 2 is almost always better than Lightning. Push gives him a major range threat, but I can't really imagine a Sith Lord with Push but no Lightning.

Here's some pretty good advice I got from GWEk on the wizards boards when I was making my Malgus.
"Remember, a piece doesn't need to do everything the character has ever been seen to do--or else Han, Luke, and Vader would have cards that wouldn't fit in a booster!...would suggest taking a look at the stats, trying to determine what niche you'd want Malgus to fill in the Sith faction, and focusing him a bit more."
I didn't want to get rid of Force Lightning either, but I designed my piece to be a line breaker, and with that in mind I think it turned out fairly well. Still doing some playtesting though, so it may or may not change.
