How does Garm interact with Knight Speed or Master Speed?

If I understand correctly, a normal turn consists of one of the following:

1. Attack followed by Move
2. Move followed by Attack
3. Move only, but with Speed doubled

The Attack phase may be replaced by any "replaces attacks" ability/force power. The Move phase could also theoretically be replaced by a "replaces move" ability, but that's much rarer (if they exist - none are even coming to mind right now).

So assuming that's right, which of these is how Garm works?

a) Replace player's turn with "move up to half speed and still attack multiple times"

or

b) Allow use of multiple attacks along with a normal move, but with Speed cut in half.

Under (a) Knight/Master Speed couldn't be used but under (b) it could.

A completely separate question - what force power(s) is Garm's CE referring to that grant extra attacks if you don't move? I don't think Whirlwind Attack would qualify, but I can't think of anything else.

In reply to the FP's none that I know. What I do recall was that they specifically worded it that way in case they wanted to later on in the game. Guess that's not gunna happen anymoreBored

It's (b). However, you add the extra speed before you divide by 2, so if you're using Knight speed with a speed 6 character you can move 5 squares ((6+4)/2=5), not 7 ((6/2)+4=7).

That is incorrect. It cuts the total speed in half, so you only move 4 with Move Faster, 5 with Knight Speed, or 6 with Master Speed. This is covered in the FAQ.

The Force Power thing is sort of useless for now, but it was made just in case Rob made something in the future.

E=MC^2. Take that and divide it by the square root of pi. Now add 6. Thats how many squares you can move. :)

Garm's CE doesn't replace a follower's turn. Kind of think of it as granting a downgraded knock-off of Greater Mobile Attack. For example:

Cade Skywalker, BH can move three squares and use both Double and Twin Attack under Garm's CE. He will not be able to move 1 square, shoot four times, and then move 2 squares (cause Garm's CE does not actually grant Mobile or Greater Mobile Attack). But it does give follwers with one or more attacks the ability to use multiple attacks and move in the same turn. You just can't move as far as someone with GMA (hence my statement of saying how this is a "knock-off" of GMA).

Sincerely,
