Does the cost of the thawed out han count to the total squad cost? It's a pretty confusing ability for me.

The thawed Han's point value when defeated is the same as Han in Carbonite's. This is covered in the glossary definition of Frozen in Carbonite.
Also, you would use the printed cost of Han if a character with Bravado attacks him.

no. So the figure youre actually using at the start of the game (han in carb) cost 1/2 cost of whatever han youd like to use. THAT is how much han in carb is worth AND the thawed out han is worth...both in your squad points and victory points =)
