How would reword a special ability or force power so that it makes more sense?
Example
Lightsaber Duelist (+4 defense when attacked by an adjacent enemy with a lightsaber)
This makes it so you can actually duel Grievous, but not Han

He has a point. Until I saw this I always thought it did not have to be against an adjacent enemy.

I know that, my brother and his friend are trying to argue that it just replaces attacks on Mara Jedi. I had to try to explain but since "it's not on the card" you must be able to do it.

How about changing the Lightsaber special ability so that when its used the attack is considered Melee?

Recon Roll twice for initiative once per round, choosing either roll, if any character with Recon in the same squad has line of sight to an enemy
It seems like the original went out of its way to imply that recon doesn't stack with recon, which is a given. It could be so much clearer. Maybe: Recon Once per round, if this character has line of sight to an enemy, roll twice for initiative and choose either roll.
