1st one:
GML and Sid Holo grant Renewal 1.
Is that + 1 Renewal, or does it mean that they receive the ability "Force Renewal 1".
Does sidious grant sith troopers a Force Renewal 1, and also give Krayt Force Renewal 2?
2nd one:
Do force users gain the ability to open doors? And, does that overpower override?
I lost a character in a game against a friend because he used force to open a door i had overriden closed w/ lobot.

1. yes, but GML only gives FR1 to allies with force rating and the CE is unlimited range.
2.yes to the troops. no to Krayt, still remain FR1. force renewal doesn't stack DJ
3. Only if you guys were playing house rules. If you are following the DCI rules or the official rules (the rule book), then no.

1. They grant Force Renewal 1. Since Force Renewal doesn't stack, those figures do not really affect those already with Renewal. And Sidious does affect non-Force users. This is covered in the FAQ.
2. Opening doors is not a force power. The rulebook states you can use a Force Point to reroll an attack or save or move 2 more spaces, in addition to whatever force powers they have.

I knew that Sid Holo affected non-force users, but wasn't sure if they stacked on previous Renewal.
