I really am looking forward to the V-Sets but I can't make it to Gen - Con. Will I be able to get these at Gamers?

Umm, all we are doing is previewing 4 pieces at Gencon. The set is not finished and won't be done until probably late Oct or Nov. I'm sure someone will post the previews once they are shown.

Also, if you want a jump start on that even, Dean revealed a name and I revealed 2 of the factions on the SHNN last night. I suggest a listen. We also talked about the release of the set on the show, which explained where things are with it.

Of course. The set will not be released at Gencon; there will be a handful of previews at Gencon, but the entire set won't be available until later this year. I'm sure that the previews at Gencon will quickly be available online, so don't worry about missing any v-set news.

Crossing my fingers for some huge figures, maybe the infamous sep AAT or even a sarlacc pit.

Would also like to see sora bulq and little ani.

Just don't get your hopes too high. They are just making new cards. Most of us can't make new figures, which they are keeping in mind.

Go to www.talkshoe.com and register (its free).

Then you can search for the show by name (Sith Holo News Network), or by the show code: 63807.

You can then login using you s/n and p/w of your talkshoe account.

You can also call and actually talk on the show (if Dean doesn't mute you) by calling 1-724-444-7444. When the recording asks you for the show code, its 63807.

I think that's all you have to do. I'll edit this post if I am incorrect on anything. You can also listen to previous shows if you missed any.

Sincerely,
Jester007

You can listen live on Thursday nights, ask questions or chat with other listeners via online chat, and even call in and talk to them like a radio talk show. And then of course you can download older episodes and listen if that time doesn't work for you.

Smile Which is why I still keep desperately hoping that someone might buy up the rights to make some new SW miniature game that's close in scale so we could cannibalize the minis for V-sets. ThumbsUp What? It could happen.

Oh you are right. If someone does make an announcment to make more miniatures we will definately look at that.

The V-Sets wont be done by Gencon. But we are previewing 4 of them at Gencon. And some folks will be leaving with the actual cards to the 4 pieces.

In fact one of the pieces (a unique ) will be given out to quite a few people. If you listened to the radio show SHNN then you know who I am talking about.

YEAH! I just listened to my first SHNN yesterday and I have a coupl'a reactions of note: firstly, if you haven't heard SHNN - do it - its an incredible resource, and what is happening at Gcon sounds great. I live in NZ so Gencon is a probably-never-in-my-life (never tell me the odds though) but it sounds magical and something my wife would hate. Ha!

But my second reaction was to - I'm guessing here - but is it Billiv, Dean and possibly Nickname?... I'm not sure - I was listening to it with children in the background - anyhoo, the three main proponents on the most recent show - I just gotta say actually listening to you guys was great and increased the respect I have for you guys and what you're doing. I'm actually getting a little emotional now... but, in all seriousness, kudos. Love your work.

It's Dean and myself, and Lou as the main hosts, but then we generally have at least one other person join us for a given show. This last show was DarthJim. He's been with us on a couple of shows now, and just about anyone can be a cohost if they want :) We will get back to a more normal schedule this fall after Gencon, as summer has made it all a bit rough. But it's something we really enjoy doing, and with WotC gone, I think it's a resource we all need - in terms of talking to one another, hearing what's going on with the game (V-sets, tournaments, etc going forward). The community will keep the game strong, which is even more true going forward than it has been in the past.

Oh and Nickname was a guest back on the Dark Times release show :) And for those not going to Gencon, I think our Gencon special (live from Hooters this thur night) - we might just have some more V-set previews to cover :)

I feel bad for not listening more often. But I am definately listening for the live Gencon one. Really starting to regret my decision not to go.

I am a poor substitute for Bill. When the show is at its best Bill and Dean are at the heart of it, with Lou and long lost host Chuck filling in whatever holes are left. One thing I am looking forward to at GenCon is hearing the four of them for the first time in a long time.
