Okay, everyone, I am getting serious about making and selling customs, but there is one key bit of information I need before I get to work.

How much are my potential customers willing to pay for customs?

I have 4 types that I'm considering, so I wanna see what you all think.

Simple repaints:
Okay, this is pretty simple, I take a white clone trooper from the universe set, and make him a shocktrooper with red highlights.
No new stats, just a repaint.
May take me less than half an hour, and less than a dollar in paint and clear-coat.
How much would you be willing to pay for something like that?
Does $5 sound reasonable?
That'd be like a $3 profit, for my time and work.

Second part is minor new characters.
I take a clone trooper sergeant, modify the pose slightly, and repaint it with blue instead of green, and make a clone trooper Denal with a custom one-of-a-kind hand drawn picture on the stat card, and all new stats.
Takes me maybe an hour or so.
Costs now include glue, my friend's fee for the drawing, and the cardstock.
Maybe $10, does that sound reasonable.

Next is hardcore changes.
I take a death watch raider, completely change every part of the pose, add a jetpack from a different piece, repaint it, and put in a card like I described above.
It is now jodo kast, and it took me 3 hours to make.
It is a one-of-a-kind pic, and doesn't look a thing like the original.
Does $20 sound reasonable?

The last is one of my favorite pet projects.
Squads.
Whole sqauds.
I take 9 501st Clone Troopers and 1 Elite Clone Trooper Commander.
I change all their poses so that *every* single clone is in a *different* pose, and then I add weathering details so that they all have a unqiue look, like in the clone wars series.
Keeping the same cards and stats so that every clone can be used in tournaments.
A complete squad all with unique, one-of-a-kind troops.
That'd be great for RPG campaigns.
That takes me maybe 4 hours of work, a lot of glue, and I also have to buy 10 clones to start with.
Does $40 sound reasonable?
That would be $4 a piece, which would be a discount from the cost of the one troop at $5.

Do all these sound reasonable to you all?

I have seen some outrageous price ranges on ebay, like a repainted ARC Trooper for $25, which to me is unreasonable (my ARC Captain is a modded Clone Sergeant with a lot of paper clay).

Thanks for your help.

They would definitely be a really cool addition to any custom figure collection. I, however, am not really into customs. I don't know that I would actually buy them, but I think that there's probably good money if you invest in that.
