If I'm using General Skywalker, does momentum work with (for instance) Master Windu or Kreia, if I spend a force point to move 2 squares. Can I do that, and still triple attack?

Unless they somehow get Greater Mobile Attack, they cannot move at all in order to use triple attack, even if the movenent is granted by a Force Point or if you have momentum.

No. Spending a Force Point does not move you 2 squares, it adds 2 to your TOTAL movement, which is why it is commonly referred to Move Faster (it may be referenced like this in the FAQ, but I have to double check). Since neither of those figs have GMA, when you move, you lose the ability to make all of your extra attacks. Of course, since you moved, you then be able to use Momentum where you stopped your movement on the single allowed attack.

Sweet, I was wondering why noone was using the in squads with General Skywalker, so that makes sense. Skywalker's best with followers with Greater Mobile, Twin, or force powers like lightsaber assault (which is still lots of choices).

TheHutts wrote:[General] Skywalker's best with followers with Greater Mobile.... His CE doesn't even apply to Greater Mobile attacks; the CE text reads, "Followers who end their move within 6 squares of this character gain Momentum." That means in order for a character to gain Momentum, it has to stop moving, which means that it must move exactly its speed (in most cases, 6 squares) and stop, then attack an adjacent enemy, in order to benefit from the CE. The same thing applies to Galloping Attack; the "galloper" must end its move in order to gain Momentum, so it doesn't get the attack and damage bonus on every attack. Besides, Greater Mobile Attackers are still subject to attacks of opportunity, so even if what I said above wasn't the case, it would be stupid to try to move adjacent to a character to attack and then move back.

Yes so all Dash or Bane have to say when they move adj with GEN Skywalkers CE is that they are ending there move there. You can use GMA before and after the attacks. So Cad Bane moves adj to a mara jedi. The cad player says that they are ending there move there. Cad attacks at a 20 for 30x4. Cad cant move now but he can still kind of use GMA with Gen Skywalker's CE.

You do not need to use all of your Speed value to use Mobile or Greater Mobile. Once you stop moving and declare you are using Skywalker's CE, they can no longer move.

My point was, however, that any given character with Greater Mobile cannot move, benefit from the CE, attack, and then move again; it has to stop moving in order to get momentum.

It was lost when you pretty much said that they must move all of their speed, however.

that makes my think about about a similar thing. If GMLS is under the influence of Gaarm Bel Iblis, could he use master speed to further the 3 movement that garm gives? Because master speed is "6 more squares as part of his MOVE", not turn.

GMLS can't, though, because he isn't a follower.

Now I see someone cheating at local tourney...... he also use tarpal with oddball for double grenades 20 for oddball. and tarpal's CE is followers. but now he can't cheat because the local toureny closed down. Why does every time I catch this guy cheating, I can't tell him?

oddball's decent if you give him mobile, and rex and mas was in the squad. 10 attack ain't to be scoffed at. But he mostly just used double grenades(which is illegal).

Oddball is also great if you know there will be Huges or the AT-AT. A squadron of Oddball, AniSTAP, and Rex can very easily take down the AT-AT with no problems at all thanks to Penetration.
