Just curious... and i know we could debate this indefinably, but which palpatine is considered the best one? I looked a the ratings on this site, but theyre somewhat inaccurate, as not every one will vote on all 3 of them.

Emperor palpatine seems like a solid piece. Force battery, plus some nice direct damage abilities.

Sithlord is very expensive, but betrayal and order 66 are excellent abilities. I am debating if the loss of renewal for tripple attack, and these two abilities are worth the 20-something extra points.

On Throne seems awesome in his own right. He's arguably the best battery, and packs a punch, but, like the golan, a mobile attacker can rip him to shreds, and a noble can completely shut him down.

Agreed, it really depends on what your using it for.

Rebel Storm Palps is a good battery, and unlike his chair-confined version, doesnt have to sit in one spot be shot at all game, though he costs a little more.

Palps in chair, who I like to refer to as Gigantor (and you have to say it like in the cartoon, or its not funny....not really funny anyway though lol), is a better battery than the RS version, BUT hes stuck in whatever spot you put him in. While this can guarentee you gambit from round 1 til he dies, and can provide cover in some needed situations, alot of the time I find it comes down to placing him in one of two kinds of places. 1) Your opponent has to work to get to shoot at him, and he lives longer, but your paying 33 points for a battery and no dmg output. 2) You use him to sit in gambit, hold open a door, in an area where if your opponent comes too close he can zap them, BUT he can be shot at easily as hes right out there, and goes down easy.

Sith Lord can be very handy as he can bring in Rex to the Imps, along with all those other clones (but whos gonna use them over stormtroopers anyway?), has Betrayal, which can be game-winning, and is immune to all attacks by O66 characters.

I'd have to say he gets a lot better when he's sitting down, but I've also used my RS one with great success :)

Meta wise it's Potty Palps because he is a great battery, a huge HP blocker, and has arguably the game's most powerful ability in Evade (notice I said arguably).

General use though RS Palps has a power that very few pieces do and that is Force Storm, being able to build up Force and repeatedly do 20 to all adjacents is really awesome. Plus with his stats he makes a great interference piece on the right squad.
