OK first just as some critique. First off the New Republic Scientist, I think an auto 20 damage to vong is to strong for 12 points. I would put save 11 on it.

Rogue Squadron Pilot seems like 3-4 points over costed

Noghri Bodyguard's Solo Bodyguard and Protective +10 should be for characters named liea.

Malik Carr, Yuuzhan Vong Commander's commander's effect should say non unique allys

Again, just all suggestions of my opinion! I like it a lot thoguh. Just started reading the new jedi order series with the vong so I cant relate a lot to them but looks pretty cool! And thanks for entering the contest!

Alpha red was misworded, that was version 1. I have made that change.

Rogue Pilot cost decreased to 15

Malik Carr CE changed.

Noghri stays the same since they served the solo family, not just leia.

I like the set man, keep it up.

Saba is undercosted (or overdone I think). She has potential for triple momentum with +10 dm from protective, with great stats Repulse 3 and Master of the force 2? I like the character idea but maybe dial her down some

The Sith Blademaster is almost exactly the same as mine(just proof that everyone knows that sith need that piece.)

Just my opinions.

From the looks of it the comments I made on your invasion set apply here as it looks like alot of them are "old versions" (i.e. Borsk Fey'lya needs "regardless of faction"/"from any faction", Tycho Celchu should probably have "Squadron" in his CE, etc.)

*Looks good. One question: how does Door Sabotage differ from Gimmick?

2) Darth Vader, Legacy of the Dark Side
*The affinity is interesting. I'm not sure I agree with it, but not sure I disagree either. Everything else looks pretty standard among the existing Vaders. LS Block with MotF2 and Djem So make him a pain to melee enemies. Rage and Overwhelming Force are nasty on the offensive side but he looks to be of an appropriate cost.


3) Sith Blademaster
*Is this a nonunique Kas'im? I like it. Simple and effective.

5) Borsk Fey'lya
*You've really captured the essence of this character and given the NR another Disruptive option. Very nice work.

6) Tesar Sebatyne
*A solid mid-cost piece for the NR. I'll take one!

7) Seba Sebatyne
*Ahh, one of my favorite characters. You went a different route than I, but I like your design philosophy. However, I would have liked the inclusion of some movement ability. Other than that, a very solid piece.

8) YVH Droid
*Looks good. Some similarities to my version(s). Auto-Repair is a cool and accurate twist on Regenerate.

9) Lowbacca
*Again, some strong similarities to my version. Great minds think alike, or so I've heard. Momentum would have been fitting to the species, though not necessary.

10) New Republic Scientist
*Alpha Red looks like a combo of Flamethrower and Force Corruption. Though it would be more complicated, it would be cool if you could feasably work in the ability to "infect" characters within 6 squares of the same species. Bring on the plague!

11) Corran Horn, Rogue Squadron Pilot
*My favorite character! You've done a good job capturing Corran. The attack is low, but Jag can help in that regard. Worlds better than the WotC version. I'd run this piece. However, Blaster 10 or 20 would be a great additon.

12) Tycho Chelu
*The CE alone makes this piece. Corran with Pilot and Opportunist ftw!

13) Rogue Squadron Pilot
*Nice!

14) New Republic Intel Officer
*Seems a bit spendy or a bit fragile.

16) Jaina Solo, Yun-Harla
*Not the typical take on Jaina. I appreciate the inclusion of Decptive. I'm not sold on the Double/Twin combo, though.

17) Elite New Republic Commando
*Solid.

*Based on the descriptions of the species and WotC's pieces, I'd bulk this piece up.

*The affinity is interesting. I'm not sure I agree with it, but not sure I disagree either. Everything else looks pretty standard among the existing Vaders. LS Block with MotF2 and Djem So make him a pain to melee enemies. Rage and Overwhelming Force are nasty on the offensive side but he looks to be of an appropriate cost.


3) Sith Blademaster
*Is this a nonunique Kas'im? I like it. Simple and effective.

5) Borsk Fey'lya
*You've really captured the essence of this character and given the NR another Disruptive option. Very nice work.

6) Tesar Sebatyne
*A solid mid-cost piece for the NR. I'll take one!

7) Seba Sebatyne
*Ahh, one of my favorite characters. You went a different route than I, but I like your design philosophy. However, I would have liked the inclusion of some movement ability. Other than that, a very solid piece.

8) YVH Droid
*Looks good. Some similarities to my version(s). Auto-Repair is a cool and accurate twist on Regenerate.

9) Lowbacca
*Again, some strong similarities to my version. Great minds think alike, or so I've heard. Momentum would have been fitting to the species, though not necessary.

10) New Republic Scientist
*Alpha Red looks like a combo of Flamethrower and Force Corruption. Though it would be more complicated, it would be cool if you could feasably work in the ability to "infect" characters within 6 squares of the same species. Bring on the plague!

11) Corran Horn, Rogue Squadron Pilot
*My favorite character! You've done a good job capturing Corran. The attack is low, but Jag can help in that regard. Worlds better than the WotC version. I'd run this piece. However, Blaster 10 or 20 would be a great additon.

12) Tycho Chelu
*The CE alone makes this piece. Corran with Pilot and Opportunist ftw!

13) Rogue Squadron Pilot
*Nice!

14) New Republic Intel Officer
*Seems a bit spendy or a bit fragile.

16) Jaina Solo, Yun-Harla
*Not the typical take on Jaina. I appreciate the inclusion of Decptive. I'm not sold on the Double/Twin combo, though.

17) Elite New Republic Commando
*Solid.

18) Noghri Bodyguard
*Based on the descriptions of the species and WotC's pieces, I'd bulk this piece up.

Yuuzhan Vong

19) Supreme Overlord Shimrra
*B.E.A.S.T. The CE is great.

20) Sheedao Shai
*Looks good.

21) Shamed One
*Seems incomplete without either an affinity for NR squad with a force user and/or Internal Strife.

25) Malik Carr, Yuuzhan Vong Commander
*Master Tactician!? Yikes. That and the CE would really help this faction. However, given the 2 existing characters with MT, I'd say this piece is under cost, even when taking into account that Revan is over cost. His combination of SA's would likely bump him into the 60's.

26) Chazrach
*I might bump the HP to 20 so VCA11 will keep it alive a bit longer and bump the cost accordingly.

27) Vergere
*Hmm, interesting.


28) Dovin Basal

*This could be rough if "emplaced" in gambit.

*Looks very much like my interpretation. Solid.

*Fantastic CE. Very dangerous.

As for the door sabotage ability vs door gimick...it's designed to be a permanent override ability for an adjacent door. The only thing that can stop it is satchel charge. This will really change the game for sith and vong figures since they can just sabotage a door and not have to sit there and worry about it being overrided open the very next turn.

Alpha Red- you have made me think about rewording it, but I still don't wanna make it over powering to the degree that it wipes out a whole army in a single turn.

Updated Corran Horn with Blaster, he should have that no matter what. Reduced the cost of the NR Intel Officer and beefed up the Noghri BG.

Updated Mlik Carr's Cost and the wording of YV Infultrator Door sabotage (miss worded from Sith Saboteur).

This really helps me alot. Thank you!

Alpha Red (Replaces turn, range 6: Living enemy takes 20 damage. Every time the targeted character activates it takes 20 damage, save 11. On a failure, it remains infected and one ally of same species within 6 squares becomes infected.)

Something along these lines, though the wording may need to be cleaned up.

The revisions look great. Very nice work, cicrush13. I'm glad my input was helpful.

Few things, just looking at the stats:
Vader's a bit undercosted.
Borsk Fey'lya- That would be called Bothan Reinoforcements, not Reseves. Reserves is for inish.
Seba-You spelled Precision wrong
Tycho-undercosted by a bit
RS Pilot: 40 more HP, 3 more Def, 1 more attack, 10 more damage, Squad Assault, 10 more damage on the Grenades, and Affinity for Rebels, for only 5 more points than the Rebel Pilot? Needs modification.
Shimmra-Immediate Yuuzhan Vong Reserves, not Reinforcements. BTW, all of the other Immediate Reserves abilities give 4 #'s to roll; why does Shimmra only get one?
Chazrach-undercosted. although their potential is expectedly low from a 3 point YV, CEs can turn him into a tank.
Dovin Basal-Dissipate is just sick. too much power for their cost, they're pretty much immortal; no FPs to affect it, and he has a 70% chance of avoiding damage if someone hits his superb Def.
Voxyn- love him. Vornskr on steroids with a much more suitable cost.
Nas-slightly less powerful than his Warmaster kin, but his CE is phenomenal, so 40 pts is too little.
Jacen-Fringe?!
Center-point security-cheap override? i like it!
