most people don't use him, But with captain rex, 501st commander, can a clone with repeater make all 4 of his attacks, and then move the extra granted by rex?

Rex and Princess Leia, Senator's commander effect are effectively the same and read: "Each (follower) that ends its move within 6 squares of this character can move 2 extra squares at the end of its turn."
The FAQ for PL-S states: "A follower must move at least 1 square before the end of its turn to benefit from Princess Leia, Senator's commander effect."
So the clone must have Greater Mobile to be able to shoot 4 times and move to be able to get Rex's CE.

which would be illegal, cause the only way the clone would get GMA is through other rex, so the unique issue would pop up.  so is that saying that my original question's answer is no?

In order to use Rex, 501st's CE, you must have moved at least one square.
