OK,so apparently there has been quite an uproar about opinions that were made by me.
And due to these opinions, 2 threads have been locked, I still can't fugure out why, but it is what is.
First, I will start by saying, AGAIN, that I apologize for getting people upset. It was not my intention to hurt people feelings by expressing my concern for how the V sets are being Promoted, or lack there of.
This is my main concern:
The folks over at Gamers had every right intention to make the V sets possible for us to play with, and for this, I am appreciative to them.
What I am not happy with is, is the constant unnecessary traffic that has to go to Gamers for simple information. I also don't appreciate that we have to constantly hear about the V sets HERE, but we have to see them there. In case no one has noticed (I certainly have), but all I am seeing is the Promoting of Gamers on this site, not the V sets. I just read a thread on Bloomilk about how Gamers could be fine tuned. If someone wants to share their opinion on how to fix a certain site, do it on that site, not this one. If we talked about V sets more on this site instead of HIDING what is being done, then maybe there wouldn't be such a spat. But, Egos are what they are. It isn't fair to lock a thread just because a certain member asked for it to be locked. Not only does that show favoritism, it causes people to think differently on how this site, Bloomilk, is run. IT IS NOT GAMERS.
My second issue, is that the V sets were made by people who thought they did not have to answer to anyone, including themselves. Why is this a problem? Because the folks who had this Brain child thought that the opinion of the community didn't matter, that we were going to eat up whatever they fed us, and for most of you, this is true, but for the likes of myself and other gamers, this leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Not once were anyone of us included in any of the decision making processes. Not once did Gamers take the time out and come on Bloomilk (where they like to plug their site) and ask what we want as a community.
Kudos to them for taking the initiative and getting it done, I will be getting a set of cards for sure, but what happens after this set is crucial to the survivability of this fine game. Remember something, "united we stand, divided we fall". If there is no common ground between us as gamers, then this Game took its last breath when MoTF was released.
I will strongly recommend that Gamers doubles its efforts in making all parties happy, instead of the clicks and politicians getting their stab at greatness. If Gamers wants the responsibility of the game, then they should have it, but they also need to hold themselves solely responsible if it was to fail. No more of this, "I dont like what you said, so I'm going to go cry to a moderator" crap.
You guys got what you wanted, now own it, like men.

Before this gets locked Blink I just want to say that I agree with you, you did nothing wrong and I even posted in the initial thread about the traffic and I wasn't meaning it to troll, bait or cause tension... I was mentioning it.

I don't think you should take it to heart as I think this may be an ongoing problem that we have been caught up and and we should just drop it and let them get on with it and we just enjoy the site, the posts and other friendly banter.

We apologized and the threads were still locked making us feel like we did something wrong and we didn't, apparently we have been directed to billy15 and I'll be happy to message him

In the previous thread you said that "I like Gamers, I think its a cool as ice site, but Bloomilk is more accessable." In response I asked you to PM me on Gamers, and to not continue to discuss the site and the V-sets. Instead of pming me, you instead make another thread to tell everyone how evil we are.

Well, it's simple. You've lied multiple times. The first was when you said what you did about Gamers, and then in the PM response you claimed first, that you couldn't get on there, and that second, you would never go to that "joke of a site".

The second was in the PM when you told me that Sashlon told you to "Get over it" in the other thread. Anyone can go read his post, he said nothing of the sort. Here is what you said to me, because I thought you were referring to Dean's comment, which makes total sense given the context. "Get your facts straight on who says what, and the next time you PM me some stupidity like this again, I wtoo will report it to the Mods." I was attempting to resolve this privately, because if I was mistaken about you and your intentions, nothing would have come of this on the boards. Instead of doing one simple thing - pming me on Gamers to prove who you are - you made another thread that does nothing positive at all.

I also asked you not to comment on these things in public, and you failed that request as well. That pretty much explains an awful lot about your respect for others.

And now, since I have tried in private to handle this and it failed, and I have tried going to you through another person, and that has failed. I will make a public request.

Say who you really are right here and now. Then get onto Gamers and prove it. If you are a legitimate poster, then I apologize for what might seem like silly hoops - but it's pretty darn necessary given the history of these boards. Failure to tell us who you are, says to me you are in fact a troll.

Only problem with that is by posting here we're trying to reach the people who refuse to go to Gamers because of navigation issues. If we post there we won't get much response cause everyone is used to it. So it was posted here in order to understand exactly why people continue to complain about the issues.

If you had read the mods reasons in one of the threads as to closing it, he closed it because it was requested by one of the creator's of the thread. The mod said they would close any other thread if the OP (or, in Gamer's case, one of the main Emissaries in a Gamer's created thread) asked for it to be closed. There is no favoritism at all, the mod is just doing what they see is their job.

I seriously have no clue where you got this information from. The V-Set is being put together with help from the whole community through input, volunteered rules checking, volunteered playtesting, and volunteered quality control. There was a thread up here asking for suggestions to be placed on Gamers (there are at least 3 threads that are around a dozen pages each full of suggestions, and the creator's of the V-Set did pay attention to the pieces most desired and tried to work some in). In no scenario has this set been produced by a few who ignore everyone's thoughts and comments, they read all comments (while they might not like all of them, they still read them).

I am going to lock this thread and clean up the other thread.

But before I do, some things need to be said. We do not post the stats because the owner of THIS site has decided to respect the request of Gamers. They do have valid concerns about the security of this site. And I am not Shinja, but from my talks with him, I know how this site runs far better than the rest. Based on the WOTC forums, I wouldn't be surprised if someone will try to bug someone to shut the V cards down.

Talk about the V sets is not forbidden. There is a thread about it here. Yes, no stats are allowed right now, but to say that discussion of it is forbidden is wrong. Dig up the thread if you want to talk about them here. And if you do not like it, take your complaints to Gamers. Your complaints will likely not be heard here. Many of those at Gamers quite understandably do not post here often. They have taken a lot of abuse here, both before and after mods. I don't blame them for not being active here, so it is always nice to see them post here.

Gamers has had a thread about Bloomilk, and I know both sites have had threads about WOTC, heck, Gamers had a whole forum. It should not be a them or us. We are all players of this game. Everyone is going to have a preference to which forum/podcast, but referring them to another is not a bad thing.

It is posts like this that just cement in the fact I am glad I dont post here anymore.

My mistake for being here in the first place I know.

I made a mistake and I am sorry I should have never came over and posted about the kickstarter. That was just really stupid on my part.

As I said on that radio show if I needed the money to print the cards out of desperation I would have picked up my cellphone and called the over 100 plus swm players I have phone numbers for and asked them. The donation thing was to let the community get involved. You complain about the community not being involved but the kickstarter is just that. it is a chance for folks to donate so that I can give sets of cards away to the rest of the community. But clearly that was a mistake.

Somehow this became about how hard it is to navigate gamers.... I wont go there because Imight get tired from making one extra click with my mouse..... OMG have we become that lazy. I dont want to go to gamers because you have to register (nevermind you registered here!)

Meanwhile I get pms saying what a douchebag I am.... What a A-hole I am. Well this douchebag a-hole has had enough.

I just dont give a rat's butt anymore. My give a blasted is busted. Going on the history of Bullcrap I have had to put up with from this site and it users I totally get why Jim aka the Godfather doesnt even consider this site to exist. Flame me.... Flame Gamers.... Flame the V-set I really dont give a flying F%$@ anymore

I have been watching the site thinking at some point the v-set stuff would come over here..... but this juvenile crap and douchebag comment has solidifed that my decision was right.
