Hi guys! I collect Star Wars miniatures as a means of just... collecting, I do not use them for gaming. I know there have been threads asking about storage solutions and all, but my question is a tad different. I don't know if any of you guys could recommend a kind of display case, or shadowbox or something as to where I could place my minis and have them displayed in my room. I have tried looking for cabinets and other solutions online and on ebay, but I cant find nothing really that convinces me... btw I have around 220 different minis, so finding adequate storage solutions for displaying them hasn't been easy. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!

This was my plan for displaying my minis. But, I would need two at least. Alls it would need would be a glass/PlexiGlass door or screw it in place. Cheapest and the least work needed to make it work. Also with a little extra work could be hung on a wall. They have two colors.

I don't know how handy you are, but I built my own shelves out of pine. Sanded them down and put a clear coat on them. I bought a few metal brackets and screwed them into the wall. Works pretty good and because you make it yourself it's easy to fit in any space (relatively cheap too!)

Check out this post from earlier this year. http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=4052 There's some pictures of what myself and others have done, you might get a few ideas for yourself.

By the way, welcome to the site!
