Come one, come all to help us figure it out. It's the full stats this time (no clue who it is, yet), so it's gonna be hectic working on it so we need all the help we can ^_^

I'm going to preemptively remind everyone that the discussion of actual stats should not happen here, but on the SWMGamers forum. For those who need it, this is the direct link to the thread: http://swmgamers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=9842You will need to log in with an account on the SWMGamers forum. You also might have to follow the link again after logging in.

Every site I know discusses stats, even the web stores display stats. Sounds to me as though somebody's personal agenda is more important than encouraging and promoting the continual play of SWM. I thought WotC was bad, I had no idea things had gotten this pathetic and petty. If I post the stats will they be deleted? How many times can I post stats before I get banned? How many times can I post stats before I get a scary letter from some hack lawyer? How long before this post gets deleted? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

Yes it is lame. Sadly, thats just the way it is. On a brighter note the answer to your last question is three.

Shinja has chosen to respect Gamer's request to not post stats here, due to various issues of security. If you have an issue with it, I encourage you to discuss it on Gamers.

I don't have an issue with it, I just don't understand either position on this. I don't understand the "Request" and I don't understand the "Respect". Let's not lose perspective here, we are talking about a game, right? We're not giving away the codes to a briefcase nuke. Perhaps people are little too wrapped up in themselves over a dying game. Shouldn't we be promoting things like this everywhere to encourage people to continue playing. Seems to me there are better things to worry about than the sanctity of some made-up stats? I don't know, perhaps the stats aren't worth sharing. Maybe they are so bad that the people who made them are too embarrased to see them posted publicly elsewhere. I don't know, I'm just speculating. I know if I made some stats I would share them with the world, but then I'm probably better at making stats than most people. I'm just naturally talented in a lot of ways. When I think about it I rarely even practiced playing SWM and I was considered one of the best palyers in the world; and I could probably still beat most people even though I only play once every 3 months or so. Actually, some of my SWM stat submissions were used by WotC and I own the original concept artwork for a couple of those pieces (Jeff Carlisle was the artist). Anyway, enough about me and my resume'. I'm going to take a look at these stats and post them up on a popular Star Wars discussion site (which will go nameless out of Respect for that website). The website is a thousand times bigger than Gamers and Bloomilk combined, I don't think they will care about the whole "respect the request" thing. ...and all this time I thought I was the only one with a beach ball sized inflated ego head. LOL! P.S. In addition to my inflated ego head I also seem to have a lot more common sense than most people. I stick out like a sore thumb around gamers who all seem to be a little quirky IMO. I'll be honest, I think most Miniature players are a little goofy, but I suppose they aren't as bad as some of the booger eating RPGers I have played with over the years. Maybe I should just stick with collecting baseball cards. Go REDS!

OK...
I can't help but think that this is an intentionally baiting post.
If you've been following the development of the v-set, then you'd be well aware of why it was asked for it to be removed from bloo milk.
As for the rest of your post, I'm not sure what you're trying to tell us other than make abundantly clear that you have little understanding of what's actually happening, and that you want to start trouble.
And here I was hoping we were past all this stuff.

I know exactly what is going on, I've been in the private backrooms and seen people just like you get shredded. Until you reach my status level I suggest you dial it back a bit. If you print this post and mail it to me along with $5.00 and a self addressed stamped envelope I will hand sign it for you using a black sharpie. You will aslo receive a Certificate of Authenticity.

I never understood all the arguing about this V-set. It’s a really cool group project being done by a website. It’s no different then any of the custom map projects or any of the big customs things that have been done over the years.
If Gamers wants to keep the stats in-house so that they can get the traffic on the site then respect them. They have a sponsored site, they need the hits to keep the website going. If the website doesn’t generate traffic, the sponsors dip out, and the website goes down. It’s that simple. It isn’t an in-crowd out- crowd thing.
I admit I don’t like a lot of the hostility that comes from over there, and I do think it’s a bit over the top, nonetheless why don’t we just respect there wishes? There’s no need go posting this stuff at a third website, Shawn. That is pretty petty, and I think you know it.
My suggestion to the fine members of bloomilk, come up with your own big project that everyone can work on. Create your own “destiny”, no pun intended. Concentrate on your love of the game instead of this completely ridiculous conflict.
I love all of you by the way.

That would actually cost $10.00 So can we post the Bothan Transmission on these forums or is there a pending patent on randomized letters and numbers? Thhfsaei,Jwiicl,4kkv7weeru,801,dsfkexlls Uh oh! Here come the suits! I run a very successful custom made Hoth Scenario using Star Wars Mini's at a couple different conventions every year. I've got hundreds of hours, thousands of dollars, and a ton of effort into this thing. If anyone would like a FREE copy of the rules/stats just let me know and I will provide you with a link. Feel free to post them up on this website or any other website out there. I like to create a positive gaming experience for all of my players and I'm more than happy to share my work with anyone. BTW, it's official, we will be running our Battle of Hoth and Battle of Endor at Who's Yer Con in March. It's a medium sized Con that is free to all and is located in Northern Indianapolis. You still must register to attend though (see link). If you are interested in running an event just let me know and I can put you in touch with the event coordinator.

I'm not arguing about the V-Set, I'm just going to make it more public for people to see (just doing my part to keep the game going). If they ask where they can find more information I will direct them to Gamers. Also, I wouldn't call StarWars.com a third website, you might make George mad. LOL! What I would really like to know is why the SWM Czar's are always doing something goofy? It's like the intentions are good, but in the end it gets all messed up because somebody goes and says or does something wierd (sort of like my posts on this thread). People at home are thinking, who is this guy? Is he serious? Is trying to make a point? I don't know, but it's very entertaining.

Since this thread has gone way off topic, I'm going to lock it.
Until such time as we have a go ahead to repost the "transmissions" here, it is nothing more than an announcement and invitation to particpate over at Gamers.
Other discussions can take place in their own threads. Thanks.
