Since Wizards is no longer producing the game we all have come to love, the community is taking the future of the game over. These will be new stat cards created for existing minis. The set isn't done yet, but they will change the game very very quickly.

the V is for virtual.
our friends at gamers are putting together a 60 card set. new characters, and updated character, to use with existing SWM. ex. lord bandon? will use the sith apprentice mini
this will still give us new pieces to play with, even though wizards dropped the ball on us

You can check out the Destiny of the Force Kickstarter thread. It's a sticky thread near the top in the General section. It will allow you to donate $20 to the printing of cards for the set. As a gift for your donation, you will receive a complete set of the V-set. You can pledge now but you will not need to have to money until December 1st. Cards yes, new minis no.

As for the cards there will be a free to download of the cards for anyone to use. If however you partake in organized events such as Gencon you will need to have an original set of cards.
