Ok.. General Reiken (Not sure if thats how to spell it) His commander move which more or less gives everyone evade... My question is, the card doesnt state withing 6 spaces like other commander effects.. Does this mean the effect works on all your army no matter where he is? so I can keep him locked up in the starter base? Also, on a Critical hit.. I know the attack hits no matter what.. But can you use like an evade move with a save of 11 type of deal to avoid it? OH and Grand Master Yoda I can not beat this guy.. What are some good characters to kick his butt?

Direct damage ( Flamethrower, Sith Lightning, Force Push, etc.), multiple attacks ( as he does not have MotF), and Bounty Hunter sort of peoples ( such as the new IG-88, Bossk, or Zuckuss). Oh and yes, you may keep Rieekan anywhere on the map and his CE will still work on all your characters ( apart from Droids and Savages, unless the Savage has someone with Empathy within 6 squares).

1) Yes, his CE is board wide, so it will affect all applicable characters, regardless of distance.
2) Yes. Remember Evade and the like simply negate the damage. They do not negate the fact that the attack has hit.
3) GMY is not hard to beat if you avoid fighting him one on one. If you prevent him from getting Ataru Style Mastery, it massively reduces his threat level.

Just thinking about it, and this is an epic thread hijack, sorry, but GMY and Yobuck would be great in a squad together if it weren't for unique.
On topic, avoiding letting him get ataru style is good. I saw a game where someone ran a Rodian Diplomat out to get gambit, and then his opponent towed GMY to within 6 of him and let off a LS Throw with ataru mastery against the dude's entire squad that was all clumped up trying to get through the hole in the wall in Ravaged Base. It was game over in one round I think.

One thing the others forgot to mention... You have to be able to count squares from your commander to the character, so you can't keep him locked in a room (unless you have a mouse outside of the room.)

With a board-wide aka rangeless CE you do not need to be able to count range between the characters. Locking one or both characters in a room would have no effect on the CE.

It's true. It sounds like they are mixing up the Booming Voice situation, which doesn't create a rangeless CE, but extends a CE's range.

This part is important as you have to remember that abilities hat are applied when the attack "hits" are still subject to save rolls even though the damage is negated. (for example if Han, Scoundrel evades a shot from 4-LOM, BH he would still require to make a Paralysis save.

Also I'm fairly sure that Boba BH disintergrates you wether you evade/deflect or not, correct?

Unless the target is Huge (at which point Disentegration becomes a damage bonus), they yes.
