As you all may know, custom maps are finally becoming legal for sanctioned events.
To commemorrate this achievement AG7 and Me have 2 special projects in the works.
Announcement 1, some know about already: My THEED Map from MP1 is geeting updated and re-released. It's going to be a one shot double sided map and it's going to go for 8 dollars. The flip side is still in development, but It's either going to be an old classic, or brand new fan favorite. The Old classic is also a possibilty for restricted.
Anouncement 2, Josh and myself are glad we are in a position to do this. League Kits:
We will be releasing 2 Brand new maps and selling them in bulk for dirt cheap(15-20 at a time) to Event organizers to ensure that some sort of cheap prize support continues on through the 2011. This way when you pay into events everyone can walk away with something.
We want to do this for 3 reasons:
1. We are getting a new website up and running soon and we want publicity
2. The SwmGamers and Bloomilk communities have been so good to us over the years, we want to make sure we give something back to 2 great websites that have done so much for us.
3. Organized play is more important than ever, We want to do our parts to keep it alive.
The League Kits will only be available to EVENT ORGANIZERS, for league santioned events. There will be a small cost, but that is just to cover printing and shipping. We'll have more details on how to attain the kits when the time comes.
Timeframe: Give us 4 months or so to get it together.
League Kits will contain
-Maps, maps will be atleast suitable for the Standard list, but We'll strive for Restricted.
-some events fliers
-other goodies for fun and to help with the event.
