If Durge, Jedi Hunter is adjacent to Darth Vader, Legacy of the Force are Durge's attacks still considered non-melee? Can someone elaborate on Melee Attacks? Thank you

Yes, the attack is only melee when it's an attack made by a character with the melee attack special ability or using a special ability that says it's a melee attack, it's the same with non-melee attacks.
