find it here. http://swmgamers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=9571So he basicly gives mando's a fighting chance agianst Tempo squads. Meaning you may accually get to use you Opp on your scouts against Rebels ;). He also isn't bad if your not using Black Ops. Good cheap uggie killer with easy access to twin. Whats your take on him?

I like this fig a lot. Some people might take issue with his low cost because it makes him an auto-include, but I don't think those are negative things. One of the reasons the major factions are so good is exactly because of their auto-include figs like Dodonna, Doombot, Mas Amedda, etc. I think the CIO fits into the meta really well.
The ability to shut down activation control could make Mandos a really nice 'spoiler' faction in the meta. It will also help Mandos against San Hill squads and Ozzel squads.

I like the fig too, and I really don't think his cost is that low. Basically, if you run up against tempo control, you've spent 12 points to nerf an enemy commander effect on a fig that costs 9 to 11 points. If you don't run up against tempo control, you've spent 12 points on a cloaked combine fire piece. Which is to say, there's a bit of a gamble--you hit tempo control and he's worth a bit more than his cost; you don't hit tempo control and he's worth a bit less than his cost.

An auto-include? Of course! He will give Mandos a fighting chance. I really like that the V-Set seems to focus on helping all those left out factions that we love but do not dare to play against Tier 1 squads.

I'm very excited about this figure, especially in this faction. And, it goes both ways (i.e., he is a gamble, but so are tempo control pieces now... i.e., they, too, will not be worth the points when playing against this figure). So, it rounds things out nicely in my opinion.
And, let's not forget he can be brought into Sith squads with Ulic Qel-Droma (as can the Taung Warrior -- which, at 8 points and 40 hit points -- is the cheapest bodyguard out there in terms of cost/hp ratio). Either one of these alone might not happen as often, but together it provides some incentive to use Ulic. Not to mention Sith seems to be getting a major boost in the vSet, too.

Auto-include isnt so much of a bad thing in itself as long as its not completely replacing a currently competitive piece, imo.
If they were to make new stats for a piece like Luke's landspeeder, which is currently a top tier, or close to it, piece and the new stats left no doubt as to which one was superior, to the point where the existing stats never see play again, then yes its a problem.
However, if you compare this to something like them redoing Ki-Adi Mundi, who currently doesnt see play outside of casual or scenario stuff, and made a more up to date version, then its not really a problem that his old stats have been replaced.

Another way to counter that is to use Gunslingers. Their Cunning 'nerfs' the slow roll of the rebels.

boba mercenary commander is one of my favorite mando peices. Not only his commander effect, but he is tough to take down also. plus if you go up against anything with DR{cough,Lukes speeder, cough, cough } HE will kill it pretty wuick with cunning, double, accurate and greater Mobile. Now if only we could get the supercommandos something to protect them i would be in heaven
