Glad you are OK. Nothing major, but I was splitting firewood yesterday and missed on a swing which sent the log flying right into my shin, just above the ankle. Left quite a mark and some swelling. It hurt. It was just like on Family Guy when Peter smacks his knee and sits there clutching it... aaaahh!!....sssss....aaaahh!!....sssss....aaaahh!!....

My worst injury was when I was a little lad. I climbed up a tree (with a toy pistol in my mouth cause I was going to snipe my brother) and at the very top, I lost my balance and fell about 18-20 feet to the ground. The fall caused me go unconscience and dislocated my spine!!! I had to have it placed back into correct aiglignment ( from an S to a I). Since then I have had back problems out the wazzoo. Funniest injury, I was a diver for my high schools (except my senior year because my back ) and I would always smack the water when I tried a new dive. It was always hilarious, for everyone else, and completely painful for me .

Mine was also on a bike -- hit a deer while I was going 70mph. Sore and bruised for a couple weeks (the helmet and gear did its job well); totalled the bike.

Glad you are OK, A lot of people don't survive motorcycle accidents. when I was a teen a was doing tricks on a BMX bike and flipped over the bike and the handle bar went through the inderside of my mouth.. OUCH As a Rough carpenter, i put a nail through my wrist with a framing nailer, then pulled it out with the claw of the hammer. THey both left a mark......................

I actually got hit from behind by a motorcycle that was jumping a sand dune blindly while helping pull out a truck that was stuck at the top of Test Hill in Silver Lake Michigan Dunes. Luckily he kind of hit me as he hit the ground, but the tire went into the back of my knee which then hit the truck hitch and opened it up to the bone. I also severely sprained my knee, damaged some ligaments, and had to get a tetanus shot right into the open area at the hospital... Was not fun.
As you can imagine, I am not a fan of unsafe motorcycle morons, and I don't think anyone under the age of 25 should be allowed to ride one. Crotch rockets and offroad bikes should be outlawed on public property, as all those guys do around here is speed in and out of traffic, even on the highway - usually without wearing a helmet... No offense to safe riders :)

Not at all because you are safer in a car than on a bike. Stats prove this without a doubt. I'm sorry, I'd rather get into a fender bender with a bad car driver where we both walk away safe, than with a motorcycle where someone ends up dead or a paraplegic.
