We are raising funds for a new map! We are re-issuing Theed and on the flip side we are releasing an AG7 classic, the Smugglers base! We are asking for a pledge of 10 Dollars, and that will get you the map and cover the shipping as well. BTW,
Kinda an off topic question, but was it you who made the Hoth Echo base map that had the landed snowspeeders and whatnot in it? Are those still available anywhere?

Can you remind us what map packs these were originally in? I have 1, 2, & 3. If they were in there, I'll still order at least one for a friend, but if not I might order 2 (one for each of us).
Also, did I read somewhere that these are new and improved versions, or are they the exact same as the original release (may also influence if I buy one or two... maybe for others, too).
Also, do you know if we'll have them in time for Xmas (i.e., shipped to us in time so we can ship them to someone else for the holidays)? Thanks!

Theed is in Map PAck 1, the floor plan is the same as the old map, but the art has been undated drastically. I'll have teasers up this weekend.

Cool... Very excited to get a new map. I'm assuming it will be legal for competitive play?
Also, re: the other part of my question, is there a chance we'll get it in time to send it to someone else for the holidays?
EDIT: I'm backer #12. Just noticed it doesn't end until next year, so I'm guessing that answers my question about getting them in time for the holidays.

Wow...This is awesome. My very favorite map to play on in Map Pack 1 is getting a re-vamp ( can't wait to see it ) and the one AG7 early map that I didn't print myself or get from Cafe press years ago.
It's like you made this Kickstarter just for me :)
If you don't have smuggler's base, this is the map to get folks. It is one of the best gameplay/artistic maps still. (AG7 came out with my favorite looking map ever, Nar Shadda) [edit: despite not owning it, I have played it so many times on Vassal I feel I can vouch]
If you have never played on the Map pack 1 Theed map, It is arguably the best and most balanced map in the game. Every type of squad can play on it. In my opinion it is very close to the playability of Chancellor's Starship map that made the Restricted list for good reason. (since the art is updated, it could become one of my favorite maps ever)
Let's get this one funded, folks.
