TBH I think the number of UK people is actually quite limited, I suspect due to the smaller games market and proliferation of W40k.

I know there are a few of us, based on some comments I got at WotC for my custom 3d maps, etc. I am sure given the right publicity it would have been more popular in the UK, but seems to be something that was always struggled with in general (no just UK).

I am from the UK, but am living in Germany atm. I also think I am the only person there interested in a V set too.

But yeah, isn't it funny how there are almost no minis players in the UK, but they get snapped up on ebay like nobody's business.

i'm from the uk and have indeed been wondering about getting hold of the V-set, currently just playing against a few mates at home, used to play competitivly in manchester but now live in rural bedfordshire, and i know of no organised play anywhere near here.

good luck with that, i once went to what was hailed as the 'european championship' at game convention in manchester and it was only 4 players from our local shop, a disappointment to say the least (i won btw but somehow don't think it really means anything). however if you did come up with something i'd do my best to attend

I live in Portsmouth currently.

Suggestion for you guys...as we're all in the same timezone, do any of you have Vassal?

Just cos it's surely easier to arrange a Vassal game vs someone in your timezone...so if you wanted more games, that could be something to do...

Dude. I live normally in southampton, which makes meeting and playing more do-able.

I just missed the European championships in Paris. Needless to say I think about 8 Germans went, to represent their entire nation. It bugs me that minis don't seem to be all that popular over here.

I'm in Edinburgh. I don't play competitively and probably wouldn't be able to make a national competition anyway due to many time constraints. I should start getting into vassal though. Any of you play in the mornings?

I am living in Southampton, being the brother of Wannabe Mexican. Is there a group in Portsmouth? I am quite limited for time however as I have just begun commuting to London. Vassal is where I would probably play but rarely have the time now.

I'm from Fife in Scotland but in the states right now, wont be back till next year,
I'd definitely be up for some vassal to learn how to play as trust me it's just as hard finding players in the US where I'm at Bored

I'd be up for some vassal with you lads though, I'm 8 hours ahead and I'm free all day, off training the now due to injury
