I know that any attack roll of 1 is an automatic failure. I cannot find rules stating the same for saves.
This is basically in direct reference to Loda, Reeikan, and Anakin FS. If Loda fails his evade, and FPRRs it, and ends up doing this 3 times, he will have a +12 from anakin due to mettle on the roll. If his final roll is a 1, does this count as a failed save (despite it being a 13)? Or do 1's only apply to attack rolls for auto failure?

Save: Many special abilities and Force powers require a character to save against a listed number to avoidor reduce an adverse effect. Roll the d20. If the result of the roll equals or exceeds the listed number, thesave succeeds. As with attacks, a roll of natural 20 on a save is an automatic success, and a roll of natural 1 is an automatic failure
Rulebook, page 24.

This is in the rulebook. You kind of have to look, since it isn't in the glossary part. I can't think of the page number off the top of my head. Many of didn't even realize it till KOTOR. But yes, no matter how many times you reroll with Mettle on a Save, a 1 is an automatic failure, a 20 is an automatic success.
