I know rumours of another 3 star wars films happen all the time but I got told last night by the guy who made light sabers for episodes 1 and 3 that he's been asked to do more.
He was asked to design 1 for a major character and also to go ahead and make a bunch for other non essential characters....

he said it was for episode 7, so that means if it all goes ahead it'll be episodes 7,8,9

The fact that Lucas said nothing about it at all kinda helped confirm that some, but I don't know if any official cancellation has been announced. He did promote the animated Clone Wars and the up and coming Seth Green comedy show, but not the live action. With them working on the BluRay versions of the other six and the 3D rendering and all, I don't see any new films in the near future. It would be nice (I hope it's true), but I'm not holding my breath. I don't believe the original poster's info is wrong, but maybe not complete - from a certain point of view
