One of the biggest disapointments of Imperial Entanglements was that they made Officers for Snowtroopers and Sandtroopers, but not for Scout Troopers. This piece thankfully rectifies that. The key thing is that he granst Super Stealth to Troopers with Stealth. Granted, Nyna Calixte has a better version of the CE, as the Scout Officer's CE only applies to 2 figures currently, the Scout Trooper and Shadow Trooper. The main reason to use this figure is the second part of the CE, as it gives the long forgotten Scout Trooper a bit of a niche. Grenades 10 isn't a game breaker, but an 8 pt piec with Super Stealth with Grenades is pretty fun. Much like the Sand and Snow Trooper themes, the Scout Trooper theme this commander sets up isn't game breaking, but it is fun.

Nice. Once again opens an option that means older/unused pieces can have a nice little run out again.

Should be targeted, not attacked. Hopefully that is our only screw-up but it probably won't be.

Eek! Crap, can't believe we missed that. :(
Oh well...only human and all that. At least it's obvious what it's supposed to be.

And here I was thinking it was a way of not having this guy overshadow Moff Nyna Calixte.... Ok so Nyna has Recon and a CE for +10 damage against stealth, but has worse stats (-4 Def - 3 Attack) and costs 4 more points... Not a fan of this piece in that regard, I guess it is limited to imperial Troopers so that helps quite a bit, so it's not as bad as my initial reaction.

All Force Powers should be called Commander Effects ala Kyp Durron. I accually had a guy claim he was a commander and couldnt get evade from Wedge lol.
The piece is interesting its a good building block if you wanted someone to boost guys with grenades 10 in future sets. Illl stick to nina with imperial SS unless im running a theme.

swinefeld wrote:Hello Prince Xizor Good thinking! Probably about the best use of both parts of Xizor's CE that we've seen in a while. Combined with something else to boost the Scouts or Shadow Stormtrooper's attacks, could be worth playing.

Ah I was excited to put him with Stom Commandos for a second until I realised they aren't troopers. But this will still be cool. I have always wanted to use scout troopers more.

Well, super stealth scout trooper squad would be fun to play... but you would think the bright white armor would make them ez to spot :)

The piece is good, but I just can't think of any situation where I would prefer using it over Nina. The Xizor combo is good, but again, I'm just not feeling it.

That's on interpretation... I thought it was a reflection Lucas' silliness, the need to easily distinguish 'good guys' from 'bad guys'...and that white costumes cost less than camo costumes... then again, there's the 'Leia meets Wicket scene' and you can't see those Scouts...
