According to Facebook there are three new ones. I have only found one atm. It can be found here.

SWMiniverse

Will keep my eye out for the other two. I like this one. A nice counter here. Would like to see this guy help an IG 86 go against a lancer.

Pretty certain the other one is on The Holocron.

I forsee a lot of complaints about the BD LT.

BD LT: At least they kept it off the Mouse Droids! Might make STAPs more interesting...?

I like it, but it feels redundant with roger roger, and... quite frankly, it just gives lancers more to work with, and I was hoping the goal of the v-sets was to shift the meta away from strafe.

All in all though, it isnt a terribly broken CE, and it will be fun to use with crab droids ;).

Eh, it's not too bad and actually limits Strafe. Roger, Roger is never used because it's within 6 of a crappy piece and is not a CE. This is a CE and I can imagine the Lancer will want to utilize it quite often. The Lancer May have Speed 12, but a mouse droid only has 6. So 18 Squares once you count off the CE. IF the Lancer player needs the extra 20 damage he's going to have to take a round to set it up, giving the opponent time to react.

I like this guy with the Jedi Hunter droids in particular, as well as the BGs, Crabs etc.

That was pretty much the reaction in our group when we first saw the playtesting stats.

IMO doesn't do much for the lancer. Def better in builds with JH droids or other non distance droids as the range 6 makes it tough for a lancer to utilize it. Definately a nice addition to make droid squads besides a lancer build viable.

Bringing in a YVH-1 with Lobot vs Vong will be nice. The CE is pretty much useless to Vong if stolen by the Yammosk.

Heck, Kazdan squads could be the new counter to the Vong. Razz

Agreed. In playtesting, you could utilize this guy with the lancer, but to make it worthwhile, it had to be non-GGDAC lancer support type squads. (Basically Lancer stays near the group for support, not as primary offense. Just try to build a pawn squad with this guy, Darth Sid and GGDAC, and pretty quickly you find it's extremely limited squad.

However, for melee droids, and shooters that can afford to get close (X1, Lancer was one of my favorites), this guy is very nice - that was his best role by a large margin. I think most people will find him not worth using in normal lancer squads pretty quickly, which should end the complaining that some of you heard/expect.

the EG-05 swarm got a pretty huge boost from this set. Those droids are now doing 40 damage per hit AND have twin so thats 80 damage on the run to a jedi, thats a big deal. Also OOM-9 to boost their defence in cover and brings them to a 25 in cover i think. And a 23 vs a Force user.

Your also netting more damage when you use you IG-86's to base enemies say with Evade. 19 points is a pretty good cost for this.

And ya if your running a lancer build he doesnt fit in all that well. It looks really good on paper but just doesnt work in game. The only way i can get it to work is just like bill said and run the lancer as a backup type with whorm, that way your always setting up mice for twin and the +10 damage as well as saving yourself some points for other stuff.

I love how Cilghal's lightsaber on the card is bent! That's how all my minis with Lightsabers look! A box of bent plastic... I just imagine that's because they are swinging them so fast that "appear" to bend...

BD LT that might be fun to run with (in conjunction with WT, DF or Kazden)

20pts and within the Sep faction:
Phase I and II Dark Troopers (P2s have 30 Damage and Flight)
Juggernaut BDs (Flight and Mobile)
BG Droids
IG86s (Of course)

With 30 Pts
Phase I and II Dark Troopers (P2s have 30 Damage and Flight)
Juggernaut BDs (Flight and Mobile)
BG Droids
IG86s (Of course)
Destroyer Droids
Chameleon Droids (helps that whole "I get close to you and make a save, so now what?" problem)
Junk Golem (with Kazden to drop cost)

I am sure there are some better choices (I was going to include the Krath Droid but only because he has one of the better Ds for Droids under 20 pts) but some fun interactions that aren't on the main path.

I kind of like the Juggys getting a potential boost when coupled with potential twin.

I wish I hadn't traded my second BD Sergeant now :( It would be really fun to play both of them together with B3's, Whorm, and GGSotJ :D

Both the Mandalore piece and Cilgal looked great. I liked the Stealthed Mando with flamethrower and double with possibility for double twin.
Also, I liked the fact that a lot of these new pieces come from the EU, and not mostly the more obscure EU. NIles FArrior comes to mind... NICE JOB and looking forward to the set release!
