I'm sure evryone knows the answer to this but I need clarification especially as I just played my first game for almost 2 years tonight and a few things came up including one for the Jedi Weapon Master. When using Force assault when it says 'replace attacks' does that mean that the standard double attack he usually has is replaced with the new twin? Or does it mean the first attack of the double is now a twin and thus he has 3 attacks in total? Or does each of the doubles get a twin making 4 attacks in total?
Thanks

Lightsaber Assault replaces the normal attack action - so you forgo using Double Attack, but, it allows you to move and still make two attacks. These attacks are not "twins". You may attack two different enemies if they are legal targets. Quote:replaces attacks: Some Force powers or special abilities have “replaces attacks” as a special cost. A character who uses such a Force power or special ability can’t make other attacks that turn, even if another ability allows extra attacks, and can’t replace more than one attack. When making an attack of opportunity, a character cannot use a Force power or special ability that replaces attacks. A character cannot use a Force power or special ability that replaces attacks in the same turn that it uses a Force power or special ability that replaces its turn.

During the JWM figure's turn, you may:
1. move up to 6 and attack, or 2. attack and move up to 6, or 3. don't move and double attack
As Swinefeld noted, "Lightsaber Assault replaces the normal attack action." That means with #1 you can move 6 + attack twice (or with #2 attack twice + move 6). Under option 3, you would be replacing your Double Attack with two attacks from Assault; you would gain nothing but a wasted Force point spent.

The Lightsaber Assault for the JWM basically allows them to always make two attacks regardless if the move or not as long as they have Force Points to spend.
To add on to what Chargers said, if you have Queen Amidala from Champions of the Force or the Jedi Instructor from Masters of the Force; you can move, attack twice, and move again. People are also taking General Skywalker to give them Momentum. That way, you walk up and use Assault to make two attacks with a +16 to hit for 30 damage. Easy to see why I love those JWM!!!
