Congratulation! As everyone will soon receive the first V set and the V set offical set up the RM for each minis. However I think many people will have there own minis for the RM. Let show the minis you will use for the V set in this thread, then sum up the best idea for everyone. Thanks

Do you mean pictures? Or do you mean that we should list our ideas of what figures we plan on using?
I just ask because I have no pictures to offer, nor customs ready to use yet, but I definitely have plans for what I'll do for a few certain figures if they show up in this set or the next one.

My first thought is the pictures, but name only is fine. I will photo mine version after I know which 60 miniatures are. The black colour CIO look pretty cool!

I made customs for Jaina Sotj, elite scout trooper, Mandalore the preserver, and Bastila. For Jaina I used an OR recruit, I painted some of the suit black and added a purple LS. For the elite scout trooper I took a scout trooper from the endor pack and painted all the white silver(really pleased on how it turned out) for Mandalore I painted a OR commander's armour silver(looks really cool) but I accidentaly got some silver paint on his face, so he sorta looks like the Terminator, hahaha. Looks awesome though. And for Bastila i repainted a human engineer and added a double blade yellow LS. I would post pics but my camera really sucks, :( but just wanted to let y'all know what Im using.

Well, here are my plans for what minis I intend to use for certain characters. And if they're not in this first set, well, they'll be made eventually, and I'll be ready for them. Royal Handmaidens - I've gotten a couple extra figures of Queen Amidala, and I figure I'll just give them each a different hair color (blonde, red, etc.). Voila! It's Padme's handmaidens from the Battle of Naboo, all ready to go. Joruus C'Baoth - I plan on repainting a Force Spirit Obi-Wan from Alliance and Empire for Joruus. Timothy Zahn has said that he originally wanted the character to be a mad clone of Obi-Wan, but LFL nixed that idea. All the same, what better mini than an Obi-Wan to represent him, except for the fact that most Kenobi minis are wielding a lightsaber prominently, and in the novels Joruus didn't really carry a lightsaber - he was more of a Force Lighting monster. Obi-Wan FS is perfect. Sora Bulq - For Sora, I'm planning to eventually acquire an Agen Kolar from Clone Strike and replace the head with that of a Weequay Thug and his hands with the lightsaber bearing hands of an Asaaj Ventress from the 2009 map pack. ARC Trooper Commander - I'll use a 501st Legion Clone Commander but replace his helmet with that of an ARC Sniper and then try to paint in the red highlights. Ben Skywalker - whatever Luke mini I use for him, maybe even the recommended one, I'll probably paint his hair red. It's supposed to be red, isn't it? Winter - One of the Hoth uniformed Princess Leias, but with her hair painted white, and maybe her vest painted dark. countrydude82487 wrote:i wanted to use a mandalorian piece, because i just cant bring myself to put a stormtrooper in a mandalorian build. lol Yeah, I feel the exact same way. Seeing such figures on the map will drive me nuts, which is why I'm going to take a Mandalorian extra (haven't decided which one yet) and paint him up all black and his weapon silver to use instead of that recommended Shadow Stormtrooper.

this is an interesting topic, a problem with many different solutions
i plan to use a mix of the recomended minis, simple repaints and full on customs, pieces like ki-adi-mundi and bastila shan i'm happy just using the origanal figure. If i can do an easy reapiant on a spare mini i will as well (did a tusken cehiftain, admiral pallaeon(based on a spare moff jerjerrod) and the nautalon BSV this afternoon), i think this will have to be my solution to the mandos, i too can't stomach using stormtroopers etc as mandos, it will drive me insane. and some like the ani and padme and a reek, well thats gonna have to be knife and glue time i think, a normal reek just isn't good enough (to my mind anyway).

It's not a custom but I will use this D&D piece for the Voxyn. I have too many of them anyway.

Been after one of those D&D minis for some time for the very reason of using it for the voxyn. A very cool looking mini. It's hard to see the size on the picture you have shown, but if it's a medium then the voxyn is ideal for it , if it larger or huge then the Voxyn Queen if we ever get one.

It's a large base. I think the Boma is the RM, so this will work fine.
