For me, its a tough choice between R2, astromech, and the elite rebel commando. The commando wins for me because: he can shoot more HP has stealth Looks bad-@!#

R2 Astromech is the best. Tow Cable, Flight, and Override all for only 9 points. Can't beat that!

I chose ERC because he: 1. can do damage 2. can be boosted 3. Is a solid piece by himself at a reasonable price 4. in 1 activation can single-handedly take out all of the other pieces that have Override, without being boosted 5. Is non-unique, so can have many in 1 squad
Yes, I know other pieces have their pros as well, but my choice is the ERC.

Oh ya ERC, no question for me. For all the same reasons hothie mentioned.

R2. Tow cable is amazing. R2 is a must-have for Republic. ERC is a great choice for Rebels.
Lobot is also a good choice - his reinforcements are crucial in many competitive builds.

ERC (see Hothie's post above) Although, I still say they should have never given Override to a non-unique.

R2-D2 - tow cable is awesome. Most of those pieces are pretty great though, and the ERC is competitive even without override.

While R2 lost some competitiveness with the nerfing on strafe/galloping attack (thank god), I still say he's the best of the lot.

Gotta go with Lobot, either one actually if i had to choose out of the 2 id say CLO , now reason why i even chose a Lobot is basically the ERC is a great piece, R2 is a great piece but there factions restrict them. Hey let a ERC or R2 be a fringe piece & its one of them.
Now Lobot being fringe he pretty much gains CE's like Evade etc. Also with his reinforcements or reserves depending which one your using is an extra bonus. Can heal or repair him & all around not a bad piece to be on fringe for override. So thats why i gotta go with him.

Yes, I know other pieces have their pros as well, but my choice is the ERC. actually; no. The R7 has ion shielding; so Ion Gun +20 doesnt work against it :P

ERC can't take out the Mandalorian Gunsmith either. He wasn't in the poll, but he's now Bloomilk official as of today.

Doombot all the way. Yea, hes limited to one faction, but Tow cabling Ani stap or Yobuck is just ridiculous.
