The glossary is ambiguous (not sure if it's covered in the FAQ). When do you gain the benefit from Rangefinder - when you attack or when the Rangefinder character activates the special ability?
It could work in either of these ways:
1. Character replaces attacks with Rangefinder and then gains the following effect for the rest of the round: Adjacent allies who do not move gain +4 Attack against non-adjacent enemies.
2. Character replaces attacks with Rangefinder and grants the following effect to all adjacent allies: For the rest of the round, this character gains +4 Attack against non-adjacent enemies this round.
Swap is not movement.
If it's #1, you could use Rangefinder, attack with adjacent character A, swap A with another character B, and then attack with B who would get the +4 from Rangefinder.
If it's #2, you could use Rangefinder, swap adjacent character A with another character B, and then attack with A from another location while gaining the +4 from Rangefinder.
Sithborg, from your response I'm not clear whether #1 or #2 is true.
