I'm trying to correct some of my pieces that have sagging lightsabers. I've tried hot water, hot air, and plastic holders. But they keep going back. Is thete a trick that works? Exar isn't really frightening with limp lightsaber syndrome.

I've never been able to correct Exar. Other than Exar and a couple stubborn pieces, though, I use a hair dryer (hot air), reshape the mini and immediately put it into the freezer/icebox, often holding it in place for a few second before closing the freezer door. Freeze about five minutes.

The best results I have seen are done by completely removing the plastic blade and replacing it with the painted shaft of a pin or needle.

I went for the hot water onto an ice cube.
Hold the model/saber in hot water til it's all floppy, then take it out and straighten. As soon as it's straight hold onto an ice cube and roll it out over it (if that makes sense) to freeze it in the straight position.

Take a cotton bud, or q-tip. Cut it up into a tube, Make the sure its open at both ends too, making a Q-Tube Ensure its long enough to go over the lightsaber blade (make it longer than the blade). Put it over the blade. Take 2 glasses. Fill a glass up with ice water and the other with boiled water from a kettle. Dip the lightsaber hand into the hot water for about 20 seconds. Then Dip it straight into the ice water for about 10 seconds. Take the Q-Tube off, DONE!
