1. I have the mine for Darth Sion, but not the card. So, if I copied the stats, and printed out a card, would it be legal for tournament use?

2. Are Destiny of the Force pieces legal for play in tournaments?

Thanks Cool

1. Technically no. Most judges would probably allow it though.

2. Yes.

1. No, generally speaking. In the end, it really depends on your venue and judge if they will allow it or not.
2. Yes.

Thank you guys, but how can I get a legal card for play for Sion?

There used to be an Orphans thread around here, but I think it was taken down.

Post something in the Trades section and see if anyone has a card.
Otherwise, you'll have to get another Sion to get the official card. (uugh)

I already checked, but they don't have it, so I guess I'm just out of luck.

What about copying a card? It seems silly not to allow a piece if the stats are correct. I know you don't have to have a matching piece for a card to use a figure. As long as it is an excepted alternative.

Still wouldn't be allowed.

The main reason the official card is required is because of how easy it is to make a copy and edit it.

That's the thing. What is accepted and what isn't will vary from group to group. It is far too easy to modify a stat card, intentional or not, if you are using a substitute. Which is why it will never be allowed in the tournament rules. It is all up to the judge, however.

It sucks though having either the card or the piece and not the other. And not being able to use it, especially if it's an amazing and hard to get piece, can make getting a copy of either even more difficult then getting a whole new one.
