So, with my recent diving into custom minis, my gf made remark along the lines of creating a Tenel Ka Djo in Dragon armor.

So, I said, why not. I never tried one that challenging.

Well, I reached for the golden ring, fell flat on my face, got snicker-snagged on by some 6th graders, AND lost my wallet all in the same go.

I am posting the reference photo:

Now, before I post this, I want pregnant women and small children to leave the room. What you might see may not only scar you for life but might actually render you unconscious with shock. Make sure your Medic Alert bracelet works:

I figured that at my first time fully repainting a mini, using Green Stuff, and white primer might serve as a warning to everyone else that wants to dabble.

So what do you dislike about it?

I messed up the paints. I grabbed some of the wrong shades.

I am darn proud of the form. I got use out of one of my 10 Mission Vao's (I think I might be 3 over the limit before registering so I need to start whittling her down)

I just messed up the paints and such. The pictures turn out better than the real deal. Almost like dates from a dating sight.

So you'll repaint and re-post her, right?

When I posted my Tenel Ka at WotC a few years back, someone said her armour looked of sick.

Well, I might have been a bit hard on her. She turned out a bit better when the gloss dried. I still think she was me trying to do a level 5 when I am still only at level 2. But thanks for the advice.

I WILL have to do a repaint of Sev'rance tann. Nothing fancy. Just a repaint, relightsaber but I didn't have the right color paint for her jedi garb so her skin blends in too much.

Thanks for the pep talk. I, after looking at it and seeing my gf's reaction to it, think I did a darn good job. I was very disappointed originally but I was trying to make it better for my GF. She currently has it. I don't know if I could ever do another one but I may try to make a better one.
