For those of you in the Indianapolis area (or beyond), we will be running a couple events at this year's Who's Yer Con. (http://whosyergamers.org/wygms/modules/content/index.php?id=14) The con will be held March 11-13 at the Holiday Inn Indianapolis North at the Pyramids. It's a free con and they do have special hotel rates if you follow the link. All events are free as well - you do have to register to get the free badge and reserve your spots at the events. Lots of activities going on all weekend - the SWM events are below.

Both scenarios run 5vs5 battles with point-based objectives. Activations are based on phases (trooper squads, commanders, cannons, uniques, etc) and stats are modified for more game balance. The Hoth battle is on an 8'x8' grid and the Endor battle is 4'x6' with 3D terrain and various height levels. Lots of fun and the price is right. :)

Star Wars: Battle of Hoth

"Join in on the fun as the IMPERIALS invade the planet of Hoth to battle the REBELS in this custom scenario based loosely around WotC's Star Wars Miniatures rules. This Star Wars Miniatures scenario pits 5 Rebel teams against 5 Imperial teams in an epic battle for the planet of Hoth. Some of the key Rebellion characters include Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2-D2, C-3PO, Dash Rendar, Wedge Antilles, and a handful of Snowspeeders. Some of the key Imperial characters include Darth Vader, General Veers, Admiral Piett, and of course the AT-AT's. The rules are easy to understand and will be explained in full before we begin. All materials are provided."

Star Wars: Battle of Endor

"Join in on the fun as the REBELS infiltrate the planet of Endor to battle the IMPERIALS in this custom scenario based loosely around WotC's Star Wars Miniatures rules. This Star Wars Miniatures scenario pits 5 Rebel teams against 5 Imperial teams in a battle for the Endor bunker. Some of the key Rebellion characters include Han Solo, Chewbacca in AT-ST, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2-D2, C-3PO Deity, Logray, Chief Chirpa, Wicket and a handful of Ewok catapults. Some of the key Imperial characters include Darth Vader, The Emperor, Admiral Piett, Moff Jerjerrod, and of course a few Speeder Bikes. The rules are easy to understand and will be explained in full before we begin. All materials are provided."
