Hey, first off if I have played a Vassal game against anyone and mysteriously disappeared, that's because I was kicked off by Vassal and I was not able to log back in. I do apologize to those players, I did not mean to leave the game.
I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems getting kicked off and then not able to log back in?

sometimes that happens when they are cleaning the server. My interwebs sucks so i drop all the time but i can always log back in. I'd say your problem is the former.

It does often happen where you cannot get back on. We've waited over an hour on multiple occasions to get back on with no success.
