If I have a character defending against a melee attack and my character has Lightsaber Reposte, Lightsaber Block and Master of the Force can I use Block to prevent the damage and then use Reposte to attack the attacker?

Yes.

You may resolve the two effects in either order, but you must declare Riposte first.
(you don't get to wait to see if your block attempt is successful and then choose to Riposte)

I do not believe that's entirely correct. If you have Djem So and Riposte, you must declare you are using Riposte BEFORE making the Djem So save.

But in the OP's question, I'm fairly certain you can Block first and wait to see what the result is and then decide to use Riposte if you want. I'll try to find some other threads that may give a more definete answer.

Lightsaber Riposte: (Force; 1 Force point) When a character using this Force power is hit by a melee attack, it can make an immediate attack against that attacker. You must decide to use this power immediately after the attack hits.

Found the thread: http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75862/19458610/Question_regarding_Djem_So_Style.?post_id=331088362

The post that NN makes in Blue states that you can use Block before, during, or after the effects of Riposte/Djem So.

@jedispyder: Lightsaber Block has the exact same wording at the end of it (must be used immediately after the attack hits). But the owner of the figure that is getting hit can decide which power to use and resolve first under the rules for "Simultaneous Effects". The only exception is when you're comming accross a figure with both Riposte and Djem So. But the rules for Djem So takes care of that because it specifically says that you must declare using Riposte before rolling for the save. You can decide to use Block before or after the Riposte/Djem So resolution.

Dangit. I've been Djem So'd again. I keep forgetting that detail for some reason.

Sorry about that.
