Could someone explain how it works please. I understand that the savage character has to end adjecant to an enemy if it can. Does this mean that if the only enemy it can end next to is 8 squares away it has to move those eight squares and can therefore not attack?

That's correct. If you can move next to an enemy, you must. You don't have to use optional speed modifiers, but it will force you to double move. This is covered in the FAQ.

Simple question on the same thread, sorry for thread jackin haha..
Alright you mentioned that if a savage character has another enemy within range of moving it must do so, now lets say i have a savage character and an enemy within 6-10 squares and i wanna just activate the savage, am i able to just activate him or do i have to move him next to the enemy, question is on its turn do you have to move the savage character if it can move adjacent to enemy, thanx aheahd

Yes, you MUST end your move (up to double speed if necessary, maybe forfeiting your attack) to be adjacent to an enemy.

Aren't you just rephrasing the OP question?????? The original question was about whether you had to forfeit your attack and move double speed if that was the only way to end the turn adjacent to an enemy. (You do.) DP's question was about whether you could forfeit the move entirely and stand still (i.e. "must end their move..." but what if they don't have a move at all?) You can't forfeit your move - you do have to move if you can end your turn next to an enemy. DP's question comes up a lot with Kyp Durron. When he's Savage, he can't use his Lightning at all unless he starts adjacent to an enemy (in which case he also takes damage).

He could be blocked by pits and other characters, so he doesn't always need to be adjacent when he's savage.
