is cloaked considered the same as stealth? like, do the rules of force sense, its a trap work against a cloaked figure as well?

No, Cloaked is not affected by Force Sense or It's A Trap.

Cloaked is a more clean version of the Super Stealth CE's, as there are some weird interactions with those CE's due to stealth, making them somewhat superior in certain situations.

There's also one pesky thing about Super Stealth. Say you have a character w/o Accurate Shot and is within 6 squares of someone with Super Stealth (and not adjacent). The character cannot target anyone because of the wording of Super Stealth CE's and Stealth.

Stealth says that the character does not count as being the closest enemy while in cover and more than 6 squares away. Super Stealth says that they cannot be targetted by non-adjacent enemies. So, in the example above, the acting character is within the 6 squares making the Stealthed character the closest; but the acting character still cannot target him.

Cloaked specifies that the character does not count as the closest for targetting purposes against non-adjacent enemies while Super Stealth does not. That's why you can still shoot at people further away than someone with Cloaked in cover 2 squares away.

Sincerely,

Yup. Against someone with Super Stealth, once get to within 6 squares they now become the closest enemy (assuming no one else is closer), but they cannot be targetted by non-adjacent enemies while in cover.

Yes but beware to get cover from another mini, because minis with Sniper could shoot your minis, greettings.

quick bump on old topic*

if the opponent is 6 squares away from the cloaked figure, can he be shot at? and what if there is another figure nearby?

i just need more clarification on the whole "cloaked" vs "stealth" vs "super stealth" part. like what is ok for cloaked but not so ok for stealth/super stealth and what is not ok for cloaked.

The major difference between super stealth & cloaked is that Cloaked specifically says they don't count as a legal target if they have cover. So if someone w/o Accurate Shot is within 6 squares of an enemy in cover that has Cloaked, the attacking character can still target another character further away.

As mentioned before, if there's an enemy within 6 that has Super Stealth & cover, a character w/o Accurate Shot cannot target anyone. This is because Super Stealth ed characters become legal when they are within 6, but they cannot be targeted. Super Stealth does not have the part in its description about not being a legal target, but instead saying they cannot be targwtted. A subtle difference that can be a big factor.

When I saw this thread I was thinking about things like Prince Xizor's command effect that only affects characters with Stealth. Unless I'm missing something an ability that looks for Stealth will not see Cloaked as being equivalent.

One interesting interaction with Cloaked is that Sniper works against it (I think....). I was able to pull a blaster barrage off from Arica recently against a cloaked Maul who had no cover except another piece in from of him.

Correct. A character with Cloaked does not qualify for CEs that require Stealth for the recipient(s). Now if you have a way to give someone Stealth (Ooglith from Nom Anor or Epic Mara's CE), then the character(s) would be able to recieve a CE with Stealth being a requirement.
