Advanced Battle Meditation grants a Force Ability that affects every character on the board. Force Immunity, on the other hand, prevents characters from being affected by Force Powers. Would Force Immunity keep a character from being affected by Advanced Battle Meditation, or not? If so, how would that interact with ABM's suppression of Commander Effects. With ABM in effect, would both the commander and the recipient have to have Force Immunity (i.e., both within range of Ysalamiri or both be Vong) in order for the CE to work? Confused

Just like Force Sense, Advance Battle Meditation does not affect characters with Force Immunity. Both the commander and the recipient must have Force Immunity for the CE to work.

Not entirely sure if the bit about the recipient needing Force Immunity is correct. I thought ABM targetted the commanders themselves. So as long as the commander had Force Immunity, he would still give his CE to the applicable recipients. Could be wrong, but I thought I remember reading a discussion about this. I'll try to dig it up.

This makes sense to me... If you find out for sure one way or the other, please let us know. Thanks!

Suppressing CE's applies to both the commander and the recipients. Otherwise, Disruptive would only work when within range of the commander.

Looks like I fooled myself into believing something else again. Thanks for the correct interpretation of ABM Sithborg; but for the record, I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you and your meddling dog (but a serious thanks ThumbsUp )!

As long as that the ally on Bastillas squad doesn't have Force Immunity. So, let's say you have Cad Bane in an OR squad w/ Bastilla while ABM is in effect. If Cad Bane is within six squares of Grand Admiral Thrawn or Admiral Pallaeon as Bane is making his attacks, then Bane will not benefit from the +10 damage cause he is under the effects of the ysalimir.

You can tell I've hardly ever played against GA Thrawn, as I never realized that Ysalamiri effects ALL characters within 6 squares. (I assumed it was allied only) Interesting....

Yet another plus for Pallaeon.
