How many very rares are in a booster case? Options

My friend just bought a booster case of KOTOR and there we're 3 very rares. I thought there is supposed to be 4 VR? The extra rare he pulled was another Vader SotJ. So two of the same rare. Does that sound right? Or did the seller tamper with the booster case beforehand?

There are supposed to be 4 VRs in each case. But every once in a while someone gets cheated out and gets a dupplicate rare. Looks like your friend had the unfortunate luck of getting a bad case.

Yep, there are supposed to be 4 VRs, but getting 3 has been known to happen (albeit rarely). A friend of mine got a KotOR case and had a similar situation; got 3 VRs and a duplicate Bao Dur.Bored

Officially, there is no guarantee of how many rares/very rares are in a case, but 4 is typical.

Standard is 4 but no guarantee. Clone wars and later have always had 4 VR. Prior to CW, I had one case with 3 VR and three cases with 5 VR. I don't recall what the standard is for Uni, BH, or TFU.

if I remember correctly for huge sets it was 3.

generally it was 2 normal size and one huge but sometimes it was 3 smaller and no huge.

Also if you got a VR huge there would be a VR smaller fig in the box.

I recall opening UH and BH cases and only getting 2 VRs.
I've had huge VRs and smaller VRs in the same booster pack, but sometimes the smaller one was only a R.
