A friend and I were talking about minis. We had played a few booster pack games lately and we were having fun doing that. I got me to thinking, what if we picked a set, or possibly everything, and picked a squad based on the booster pack format. One Rare/Very Rare, Two Uncommon, and Four Commons, with no duplicates. The ultimate Booster pack, so to speak. It might be a fun and possible fast way to play out a game of minis. So I think we are going to try that out. Anyone have any ideas for Magnificent Seven squads?

The way I understood it, point cost is not a factor. Whatever you pull, you play and the object is just to make the most broken no faction squad possible with the rarity breakdown of a booster.
Now that is not the way I've ever played sealed, it was always everyone builds within the same limit from the pool they aquire from usually two boosters of the same set. I think since the object is to make the craziest booster point cost is not an issue.

Cost is not the issue. I was inclined to stay within a certain set however. Rather than just play a sealed booster, we though, what if you got the ultimate booster for that set, and how many good teams could make, using the booster format for that set.

What I came up with for Universe:
75 Darth Vader, Jedi Hunter 46 X-1 Viper Droid 27 Vornskr 21 Young Jedi Knight 19 Super Battle Droid Commander 14 Dressellian Commando 10 Super Battle Droid
and Clone Strike (tough set)
63 Mace Windu 18 ARC Trooper 13 Clone Trooper Commander 10 Clone Trooper Sergeant 18 Clone Trooper x2 (different sculpts) 9 Clone Trooper Grenadier
would be cool to pull a single faction booster
